New Tool CD....

I read somewhere they are working on it.

Now I mightve been confused because Maynard and Trent are working on the Tapeworm project, which I an ****ing estatic about, and It may have been that I read.

Could anyone give me information on a possible release date? or even if their is one in the works?

 In November\'s issue of Guitar World, Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle offers up this info: "Maynard will be going back to work with Tool next summer, but we have him until then. He could change his mind at anytime, though. We really don\'t know."

They\'re taking their time, and aswell they should, god forbid if they start just pumping out albums instead of making great ones.

As for the future, Carey is confident that fans won’t be left
destitute for another five years.  In fact, Tool already has an
album’s worth of undeveloped material leftover from Lateralus.  “I
could see the next record coming in two or three years,” he says,
“unless we take on something huge, like try to do the next Wall.

No, I am no longer excited by Tapeworm. As a Nin / Tool fan, I have been hearing about Tapeworm for years upon years now and the whole excitement has just died.
