Anyone familiar with Jungian Philosophy? Inner Eye? Nevermind.

Anyway, as you all saw, Neo didn\'t really see Agent Smith within Bane until he lost his eye sight in the Real World and was only then that he was able to focus his senses to the Machine World. Also, remember that he saw Smith in a gold light....just like in Reloaded, he saw Seraph (the "Jet Li" of Matrix) in a gold light as well. Yet all the other average programs were in green. Hmmmmm......

And in the end of the movie, when you see Neo staring into the Machine City, his flesh is dark while everything else is in a gold light. When he died, you see that his body was then in a gold light as well! I guess when Smith took over his body, he became part of the machine world.

Jumping around here, sorry. The ending of the movie where Agent Smith was able to fully harness all of Neo\'s abilities (remember in teh first, Neo went inside of Smith and took over it - like a hack or virus. Consequently, Smith was able to pick up Neo\'s abilities and became a virus himself), the fight looked very Dragon Ball Z like. Flying, hovering super punching and creating a few subsonic "rain" shells and a whole crater!

Quite a spectacle! When Smith finally connected with Neo, Neo became a conduit for the Machine City to delete Agent Smith and turn the Matrix back to normal.

Shit.....I got a meeting to attend. Gotta go!

What you\'ve said makes sense, only Smith didn\'t absorb Neo\'s powers when Neo blew him away in the first movie. Smith only gained his new powers upon absorbing the Oracle. If Smith had absorbed Neo\'s powers when he was blown away, then all subsequent Agent Smith\'s would have the same powers, yet they did not as demonstrated in the burly brawl and the fight in the hallway of backdoors.

I think that the Smith he fought may have been the former Oracle. Smith said something that the Oracle had said before "All beginnings must have an End." or something like that.

Remember the scene before Smith took over the Oracle in the kitchen? She asked him what happened to the little girl, and the "new" Smith said something about cookies.

Actually I think that little girl was the program that the Oracle said controlled the sun, remember in Reloaded she said something about having a program for everything and she mentioned watching the sun, that why in the end the Oracle asked the lil girl if she had done that.

In the end when Smith got all confused it was because he had the Oracle\'s powers. And remember the Oracle only said what "they needed to hear" and she doesnt predict the future she predicts the choices they make. That\'s why Smith saw something but neo was able to make the choice that it wasn\'t going to happen, and yes like Gman said, the machines used neo as a way to delete smith from the inside.

True, Smith only became a rogue program after the fight with Neo in the first movie. Remember the conversation in in the park on Reloaded? Smith said Neo took purpose away from him so he faced deletion...only he didn\'t want to go. He was now bending the rules of the matrix like Neo.

I question Seraph...what was the importance of showing him in gold light in Reloaded? The only thing we really know about him is that he "protects that which matters most" which is the oracle and whatever her true intentions are.

You ll get the answer if you take into consideration that Neo could see the same Gold light when he went to the machine city

I have taken that in to consideration...right when I saw the gold light I immediately thought of Seraph in Reloaded. I failed to make the connection and after some thought I still can\'t figure it out.

If I\'m not mistaken, Seraph, the Oracle, the Architect, and I believe the Merovingian, although not proven, is a sentient program inserted into the Matrix from the outside world -- exiles. However, the programs that are created within the Matrix, the ones that remain in the Matrix in fact, only have that green glow like the agents in the first movie, who glowed green when Neo saw them, or the cake the Merovingian created. If the program can go inside and outside of the Matrix, it has a gold color to it denoting that. That would explain why Smith registered as green in the Matrix before Neo wiped him out in the first movie, and why he has a gold color in Revolutions when Neo realizes Bane is Smith.

Who\'s interested in disceting the trilogy by each movie? Am I to understand to get the most complete comprehension it is recommended that one see the Animatrix for more background information. I have not fully explored the Animatrix so anyone willing to list key points would be groovy.

Let\'s start the discussion by listing the key points of the movies as they happened. I\'ll start.

Neo comes to find out he is in a virtual world created by machines who have taken over the world and are using humans as an energy source.

Zion is the last human refuge in the real world.

Neo is convinced by Morpheus that he is the One talked about in the prophecy, a prophecy told by the Oracle. Neo must choose whether to stay in the Matrix or be freed.

Neo visits the Oracle and is told he has potential but is not the One.

A bond is made between Neo and Trinity.

Neo fights Agent Smith and dies...he comes back to life. Neo defeats Agent Smith.

I haven\'t watched the first movie in a while but that\'s basically what\'s presented.

No theories, just the facts as if right now you have no knowledge of the sequels. Now someone do Matrix:Reloaded. No interpretations...just list the sequence of events/info as told by the movie. Then we\'ll do Revolutions.

Once given all the facts we can then connect the dots to determine the exact importance of each character and events. I\'m only interested in this because of so many people saying much of the trilogy was fluff...I wanna see just how much.

This is what I\'ve come to understand after having just watched Reloaded again. Merovingian\'s wife (sorry, can\'t remember her name) says Merovingian was different when they first came here...I\'m guessing "here" to be the matrix.

We know they are programs because the Oracle says Merovingian is a dangerous program. Then remember that the Oracle said programs doing what they are meant to do remain invisible...those that have chosen exile hide in the matrix.

You guys recall in the first movie, Smith was talking to the tied up Morpheus and said that humans were like viruses on Earth? Smith became the very thing he found revolting about humans....a virus. If Neo\'s real name was Peter Norton, that would be soooo geek!

Only one problem with that.. Neo, Trin and all the other humans are green too. (when neo pulls the bullet from trin in 2, they\'re both green) Yet, they are also inserted into the matrix from a outside source. It doesn\'t matter if they are humans or not. Sense they\'re just visual programs too. So they\'re just programs (body wise) with a human mind etc.

I retyped my previous post as to be more streamlined...

Each of us exists for a purpose...that of which we can not escape. We are bound by fate for the sake of our future.

Our existence and every action thereof is determined by purpose, in other words fate.

There\'s something to be said when the trilogy ends with the Oracle. Someone pointed out she orchestrated the entire sequence of events, that seems hard to contend when you know of:

The oracle\'s concern is the future and the means to get there...she understands it because she is a victim of fate, not the author itself but knows enough about it.

Assuming this is correct then Neo will return when there is a reason to be had.

Good golly miss molly...I can honestly say it\'s the most interesting trilogy I\'ve experienced.

I think the reason the people from the outside (trinity and morpheous and such) are green cause they are just hacked into the matrix therefore the are still running within the rules of the matrix but serif and the oracle and smith are no longer "part" of the matrix the still reside in the matrix but are no longer "programs" of the matrix that is why they are the same color as the contruct of the matrix itself wich is also not a program...

Here is something else I think this has happened seven time meaning yes he was the "7th One" but also the arcitect in reloaded said that at first there was peace but the human wouldnt accept the programming.... So about every 7 times this happens and they start all over again.
