Thank God, I am finally getting a vacation from work (my third one this year.

). Go on vacation the 27th and go back on the 14th of December. Plan on goin\' to see A Perfect Circle on the 29th, goin\' skydiving on the 30\'th (skydiveky.com) , work around the house and in general just lay back.

Speaking of vacation - how much vacation time does everyone get where they work and what do you do with it?

I can\'t complain. I get three weeks a year, until two more years, to which I go up to four weeks. Not to mention, that I only work three days a week (typically) and I\'m allowed up to six call-ins a year (one call in = a complete week).

I have 32 hours of paid vacation accumulated so far after 1.25 years of work.

Two weeks a year for now - I just started a new job. You Euro\'s and Oz inhabitants never work! Five weeks of vacation wtf! No wonder the US is the greatest nation - we are all working.

Seriously though, I envy the European work habits... this protestant work ethic is outdated. Where is the 4 day work week?

I have about 330 hours of leave time accumulated, which equals about eight weeks, I guess. I\'m not allowed to take it all at once though.

I think the policy at my company is that you can take a maximum of one three week vacation per year or something like that. It doesn\'t matter because I never really take vacations. That\'s why my leave balance got so high.

I could just start taking every Friday off, but then I\'d be fvcked in other ways. When I\'m not here, everything goes to hell and there\'s no one to clean it up but me. Therefore, I\'m sort of screwing myself when I take time off. It\'s a dumb situation I know, but there\'s not much that can be done about it. Maybe if I ever get married I\'ll start taking real vacations.

We are video-taping it. Provided the weather goes a-okay, I\'ll be jumping tandem 1:00 pm, Nov 30th. Then, if the jump goes okay, I plan to start static line training.

Just hope the weather holds out for me. If so, it\'ll be a great weekend. Thanksgiving on Thursday, go to the movie\'s on Friday, go to see A Perfect Circle on Saturday and Sunday go skydiving.

i kinda have it nice here. I work shift work but we get a week off every month! We make up for that week by working a week of straght nights but it works out heh. Anyway 4 weeks time off,.oh and liv-in-clip,how much does it cost to sky dive? I figure that\'s pretty expensive
