I voted YES !

because apparently and I didn’t know this until recently…

You HAVE to pay for your own Star on the walk of fame and that included the up keep.

If I remember correctly - to get a star on the walk of fame - all one has to do is have people sponsor them and put up the money. In which case - you\'ll realize just how useless that walk of fame is.

Also, go find a list of the names on it and I think you\'ll find Britney is far from the worse  or most questionable one with a star.

I think you should have to have been around for a lot longer than Britney before getting a star.

Otherwise it\'s not special, it\'s just yet another celebrity back-patting session that means nothing.

Britney\'s mad a big impact in pop culture/entertainment industry, and so I think she does deserve it. I mean, regardless of if her new album totally flops and she never releases another record again, people would still remember her and who she was 20 years later.

I mean, and I don\'t want to bring her up, but Mariah doesn\'t even have a star, and she is the #1 selling female artist of all time with 160 million album sales world wide, with the 3rd number of #1 hits then any other artist after The Beatles and Elvis, and is the longest running artist at #1 on billboard charts (over 60 weeks, surpassing The Beatles record).

Regardless of whether you love her or loathe her, its people like that that should be rewarded with a star.

I voted no. I think the walk of fame stars should only be given to people who have been in showbusiness for around 50 years. Sort of like a lifetime achievement award. That means only people like Frank Sinatra etc should have them.

If I had enough money, I could be on the walk.

Its just a joke to see their handprints.
