anyone else picked this up??? i picked it up sat, havent played it s much as i would of liked, as been working, then saw a fim, though still done abou 93 missions.

hows everyone else going??

what people think of it?? im really enjoying it

The franchise is dead.

Its the fifth in the series, with not much changes.

Of course, me being my lame-ass contradiction self will pick it up.

/btw; any new multiplayer options? I love playing the multi on that, (KING OF HORSE)

I got tired of the series when 4 came out. This new premise looks ok depending on how it is executed but i will probably only rent it. The THPS formula is getting old. I still play Thrasher: Skate and Destroy more than i play any tony hawk game.

I just got this yesterday (monday) when I traded my Fifa 2004 and as a big fan and owner of the other THPS games this is 50/50 in my view.

I wouldn\'t say that the series is dead yet kopking.
I really like Underground and it still has that addictive factor but the story mode has been hyped up.

don\'t get your hopes up as it\'s the same as career mode but with cutscenes and the impressive part where (SPOILER)

You get signed up by the major companies like Birdhouse and Element etc

Plus the levels are quite expansive and you have different types of missions to do.You can get off your board and also drive vehicles like carts and also cars etc but only during a mission.
it\'s not the same old collect skate anymore which is good as they have kinda expanded on that but I\'m nearly halfway through the game and I\'ve played it for about 4 hours (not solidly - broken up)

They need to try and change the format a little.

Any ideas?

Who are the new skaters?

BTW: Are the superman physics changed? I hated in that game ollie\'n 20 feet in the air over a car and tree. It ruins it IMO. I want something realistic, like 4 feet.

mike vallely is a real skater now, also they added arto saari ( very cool) and paul rodriguez?!! prob spelt that wrong.

i want them to add some more skaters, ed templeton would be very cool, aswell as gonz, mccrank, lopez etc

on the last mission now, its hard, fo my team, i choose, jamie thomas, mike vallely, eric koston, geoff rowley and arto saari, vey cool team, if only they where a real skate team, theyd kick major ass

Just picked this game up,cause I got MOH:Rising Sun last week and it was only released here a couple of weeks ago.But I got to say I\'m impressed,It actually has a bit of a fresh feel which is impressive for a 5th installment.The cars drive like shit but that\'s ok cause it\'s a skating game anyway.Will give impressions after played it a bit more.

I finished it pretty quickly on SICK and got all tapes,levels and gaps.

the driving is basic but thats just a side mission and not what the game is about.

kopking my team was tony hawk,bam margera,geoff rowley,bucky lasek and bob burnquist.

The ending is a bit dissapointing.

ive not played for well over a week, playing it on hardest level,is it just me, or are 720s hard to do??

hardes mission so far, the hangover cure one, i would lose all momentium at the end of it

A good way to up your air stats is to skitch a car and release and transfer with your skitch speed,that will up your air stats enough to do 720\'s with no problems.(I think you need about 60 ft)

Actually I think it was 70ft,have you guys seen the teaser vid with that guy doing an air out of a half pipe and it looks like he\'s about 40ft out the top of it.Also in that same vid it has a guy jumping a huge wood ramp gap(I think it\'s about the third vid down in the teasers).

Also yeah that hangover mission on sick does suck.

i mean just normally, on the other games, everytime i wa in a bowl, or half pip, i do 720s, nots v hard to do them... is it cos on sick, they have made u have less air time
