Why do people hate Kevin Costner so much? Sure he\'s done some crap movies (like most other actors), but he\'s also done some very good ones:

Dances With Wolves
JFK
Thirteen Days
Open Range
The Untouchables

Just saw it... Very awesome... The emperor reminded me of Michael Jackson though... Fight scenes were marvelous, and I couldn\'t have been happier with the slightly cliche\', but satisfying ending.

Swid, buddy, you\'re dumb.

The ending was the single worst part of the whole movie. It fell apart at the end. Every critical review has noted that.

I agree but I don\'t fault the whole movie for it. I mean the whole movie was a down note then all of a sudden the end is supposed to be happy?

My problem is the ending was happy and it felt EXTREMELY forced. There was a couple things (that I won\'t spoil) that pointed towards an entirely different ending. It seemed as tho\' the writers / director / studio realized that they had a semi-depressing film on their hands and needed to throw in the happy holywood ending.

I\'d be extremely interested in an alternate ending on the DVD release.

I reread my quote, and yeah, scratch that, I wasn\'t too thrilled by the ending, but it was satisfying to say the least.
