Twas a good movie. Quite what I expected. Nothing over the top. Great character development. The movie kinda reminds me of "Dances With Wolves"....where a white American ends up seeing the otherside of his enemies and befriending them.

I recommend it. I could go on and spoil it for ya....but I\'d get banned. :p I will say this....it\'s a long movie.

I haven\'t seen it yet but I also know it\'ll be a great flick.  not many like him but I think Cruise is a great actor with a type of charisma all his own.  Glad you gave it a good review.

It was actually excellent and the swords, believe it or not, were handled properly.  Very surprising indeed that Tom Cruise is acceptable as some sort of Samurai amazingly enough.

I think I may be watching that movie in my S.S. class. Is it the movie that the white civil war guy trys to get him self killed and ends up being a hero. Then he goes out west and theres nobody else at the post where is his. His friend that brought him there gets killed by a group of indian hunters. He becomes friends with the Sioux indians, he meets a girl whos family was killed by the crow indians and the sioux took her in and she acts like a messanger. Then the indians see him playing with a wolf that has because him friend called white socks. Then they start calling him dances with wolves.
