has anybody here thought about joining the nfl?
« on: December 06, 2003, 04:39:06 PM »
i\'ve thought about doin this years ago,y\'know just try out for the team in my area which would be giants/jets. a friend of mine tried for the giants i think back in 90-92.says it was very gruelling, but i hear cats are doin it all the time. Mostly all get turned down. of course it\'s expected with coaches likely to get cats from college or vets already available.

i might just try out this year for the hell of it! heh can you imagine? Even those cats that ride the bench get paid at least 150-200 thou a year. yea i can do that...thoughts?

Be like...

"Hey Farv, pass the ball you dipshit."

Sorry I don\'t know anything about football. :/
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I\'ve thought about it. A friend of mine tried out for the Atlanta Falcons and made the practice squad. It can be done.

In fact there are a lot of starting pro players who played semi-pro/arena ball before trying out for an NFL squad.

I could probably play QB for the Niners.....

Seriously though, I\'ve thought about it.  I\'ve always rocked at running back and DB.  In all my time playing football I never let a pass be completed on my side.  But now I\'m getting a little bit too muscle bound, I used to have a damned good 40 yard time but now that I\'ve packed on about 30 pounds it\'s probably diminished.
