Anyone played this game?. It\'s quite good, You can customise your car in every aspect, from body kits, neons, Rims, body panels, engine system etc.. You get your car in mags after you get a certain amount of reputation etc.

Go hire/rent it, car freaks would probably buy this game....

here\'s my car, it\'s a Honda Civic. Stock motor, just the body has been altered.. quite fun. You have to unlock everything, which i haven\'t done yet.

Yeah I have this... graphics are really nice if you have a good video card, the game is sort of fun... has too much of an arcade feel and the unlocking system is sort of sucky... unlock vinyls??? WTF?

Yea, kind of... You do drag racing, circuit, time trail, power sliding courses etc.. Good fun really. Only thing i don\'t like is you can\'t tweak your engine etc, and they\'ve made it way to arcade style. They should have added a Simulation section to it, realistic damage etc. It\'s a good idea, but it just needs to be expanded more.

I played it at Best Buy and I must say it has the best presntation for any racer out there.  Really gets you psyched to tear it up in your "whip."

i\'m just a little concerned with the gameplay. i\'ve seen some footage of the game and it seems like there is an excessive amount of sliding...i know this was common in ridge racer but it looks really abundant here. is this reflective of the whole game?

There\'s not much sliding, only when you need to etc. One of the types of game play tracks require you to get points from sliding, but during circuit or first there type tracks, you only slide on 90 degree turns etc..  Not every corner.
