Books into movies

Do you think reading a book before watching a movie enhances your experience or do you think going into a movie stone cold is better?

Just thinking in light of LOTR how people who have read the books love the movie as well as people who haven\'t read it.

It seems to me that if you read the book it\'s kind of like seeing the movie almost for the second time the first time you go see it.  Kind of.....  No???

I dunno. I guess it depends on how close to the book the movie actually is. Like with Jurassic Park, the book was very different so it was like seeing two different stories.

Well depends on how well the book adapted on screen.  Sometimes when a good book isn\'t translated very well you get pissed at the movie.
