LIC\'s Football credibility = non existent. Only women and bandwagon fans complain about low scoring games. The only people who don\'t find a really good defense exciting are fans of the other team.

Oh hush.
There is no fun in watching teams punt the ball back and forth. Football and other sports are suppose to be exciting. Partriots and Buc\'s never have exciting games. If it wasn\'t for TY Law, that game would of put me and most viewers to sleep.

Did I complain about Carolina and Eagles? No. That was a low scoring game. Why did I not complain? It was half way interesting.

I don\'t require a high scoring game to be interested. I do require the teams actually looking alive. Not like robots and that is what the Patriots and Buc\'s remind me of. Robots. They go out there. They execute (well Partriots more so than Bucs) and that is fine. It\'s just boring. The team rarely shows any emotion in the game.

As for the comment about a good defense. No, that\'s fine. The Colt\'s lost to the better team. Patriots defense dominated the Colt\'s offense and they kept Manning in a panic, something he is not used to. That\'s fine. It still doesn\'t change the fact that there was a lot of missed calls on BOTH sides. Holding? Not called. Play clock running out (on the COLTS) ? Not called. List goes on and on.  Those are all crucial calls that could of made the game more interesting.

No you are salty about your team losing and trying to not show you are salty by bringing up a bullshit no-call on delay of game. Weren\'t the Colt intercepted on that drive anyway?

You said that Brady is overrated. That right there is bullshit. Brady is a winner. Where would Manning\'s stats be if he didn\'t have Harrison and Edge? Somewhere in the Brady area. If you take away Harrison you take away the Colts offense(which the Pat\'s showed last night). Manning is overrated. I would rather have a QB that has above average stats and wins(Montana/Brady) than a QB who has great stats and does nothing(Marino/Manning). The best winning percentage among active QB\'s and no losses in overtime or the postseason doesn\'t lie.

Give me a f**kin\' break. I am not salty about the Colt\'s losing. They lost to the better team. I just think the Ref\'s are friggin\' idiots. They was bad also in the other game, on the late hit on McNabb.

I\'m not sure how you people blown this out of porportion. It\'s simple. Patriots won. Better team (tho I personally cannot stand them or the Bucs). There was a lot of no-call\'s, that would of made the game more interesting. Would the Colt\'s have won? Hell no. They didn\'t play worth shit yesterday and the Partiots had their number on every play.

So, give me a friggin\' break. My complaint has been simple. There was a lot of no-calls on both sides. The Colt\'s would of still lost , but it would of made the game more interesting, instead of the snooze-fest that it was.

My dislike for the Patriots has nothing to do with the Colt\'s. I have never liked the Patriots. I didn\'t like them two years ago when they went to the Superbowl. Guess what? I still don\'t like them. Did they earn their spot? Yes. They won the most games and they done that by playing the best games. It still doesn\'t change my mind on the team. They\'re extremely boring, in my opinion.

POINT: In a Conference Championship game, there is no excuse for things not being called. It is extremely vital for BOTH teams.

Now do me a favor, read over the post. Grasp it.

the thing is, I like most people don\'t want a playoff game decided by a referee\'s call.  When playoff time rolls around officals have a habit of "letting them play" and only calling the harshest and blatant penalties.

In reality, refs could call a penalty on nearly every play of every game.... how fun would that be?

No offense, but that\'s ignorant.
In such a crucial game, calls should be made. There should not be exceptions for either team.

not ignorant at all, it\'s kinda well known that refs don\'t make nearly as many calls in the postseason as they do in regular season play.

Good coaches and players are keen to this.

Boooo, whatever. Like someone could just dislike a team for any other reason besides losing to them.

:D

Yes, it\'s possible to dislike a team other than losing to them. They bore me to tears. I prefer my games exciting.  I\'ve never argued that the Patriots are the better team. I know they are. But it doesn\'t make them like them - that would be jumpin\' on the bandwagon .

Hmm...Well most of the talk was about McNabb. McNabb this...McNabb that...all the Eagle\'s fans talk about how incredibly good the guy is...yeah, unless he is rushed, then sacked, and gets hurt. Eagles without McNabb = The Cowboys

I think the Panther will beat the Pats. The Pats are a good team, but the Panthers DL looks to quick and Brady is going to end up like McNabb.
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.

Phili blows.  They shouldn\'t have beaten Green Bay.

It should be a good game.  NE is on a roll, but not having the weather to help them out will make it interesting.

Hopefully Carolina will take it home.

The competition committee is expected to take a look at officials becoming flag-shy in the postseason. Judging by the defensive game plans of New England\'s Bill Belichick and Carolina\'s John Fox in the AFC and NFC championship games, coaches obviously are anticipating officials allowing more physical play in the playoffs. After the fact, the league office quietly admitted that Walt Coleman\'s crew missed six calls against the Patriots in the AFC championship game, including a defensive holding on third down with 1:51 remaining in the game, and a pass interference on the subsequent fourth down[/size]. The Patriots led 21-14 at the time. The victim on both non-calls was Colts TE Marcus Pollard. Officials also admit holding by Patriots G Joe Andruzzi on Colts DE Robert Mathis was missed on a fourth-and-9 that the Patriots converted in the second quarter. The Patriots ended the drive with a field goal for a 13-0 lead. . . .

God, let the players freaking play.  If your relying on a penalty to change the game that\'s sad.  Trust me, if they had called them, I would be pissed no doubt, but god, it\'s a football game, its meant to be rough.

That\'s easy to say because your team was benefitting from the missed calls.

Rules are rules.  If they\'re broken, penalties are in order.

I know some say, it\'s a given that officials let more slide in the playoffs.  It should be just the opposite.  They should crack down if you ask me.  The teams that get to the playoffs generally get there because they\'re good teams, and part of being a good team is knowing discipline.  If one team comes into a game LACKING that discipline...why should the other team have to pay for it?

When the Pats won the superbowl there was a large group of people who didn\'t consider them champions (myself included) because of the Raiders game, and the fact they walked out of that game victorious through a BS call.

Same may be said this year.
