The commercials were kind of underwhelming. I\'m glad the Patriots won, though.

It\'s funny, after this game I actually truly hate the Patriots. They\'ve become quite arrogant since 2 years ago... Just the way the guys bump Panthers when they\'re down and I see their mouths yappin has sent my respect from them to the toilet.

They WON\'T repeat.

Agree\'d. The Patriots is the arrogant \'rich boys\' team that has no respect for the other teams. Who was starting fights? The Patriots. Who was yapping? The Patriots. Who was swinging punches while a man was down (and yes it happened)? The Patriots.

F**K Brady , F**K Bellichek and F**K the rest of the Patriots.

As for the Panther\'s, they put a great showing on and showed the world (including myself) they are not a team to be easily dominated. I just wish John Fox would not went for those 2 pt conversions twice.

Oh and I\'ve got the video clip of Janet Jackson in AVI and MPEG format (mpeg converted from HD capture ! ). Oh and here\'s a G-rated picture.

I couldn\'t be happier.

No one will ever remember that Vinatieri missed two kicks, only that he kicked the game winner.

No, only Patriot fans will remember that. Everyone else will remember that The Patriots played good enough to win, but not really that good. If you take in account a couple things.

John Fox and his 2 pt conversion. Missed it, which forced the 2nd POINT conversion and missed that.

Bad clock mangement on the Panther\'s side. They was doin\' great, movin\' right down the field and lost track of the fact they left New England to much time to get into field goal range.

As for Brady being so good. What the hell are you smoking? Who has won the last big games for Patriots? The friggin\' kicker. Brady rarely ever get\'s far ahead in a big game. It always comes down to 3 pts. He simply is not that good and the Panther\'s proved that tonight.

Yes, the Patriot\'s won, but it was not that impressive of a win. They had great field position how many times? And they botched it almost everytime. How was the special teams for the Patriots? Vinetari missed two easy field goals, punter\'s first punts didn\'t go over 30 yards . What was Brady doin\'? Not a damn thing. Two five yard passes for TD\'s. Hardly impressive, when you take in account one of them was from the Carolina 20 due to Jake\'s fumble.

Yes, they won, but not because they are the "greatest". They won because the Panther\'s need some more work. More clock mangement and John Fox needs alittle more foresight. He was to eager to close the game and it costed the Panthers. On the other hand, kudos to Jake. Yes, he fumbled the ball - but what did he do? Instead of gettin\' in the dumps, he came out and scored. He done it everytime. The Patriots would get ahead and he\'d take his team in 2 mintues, the lenght of the field and score. That\'s the sign of a good quaterbook and for a rookie, it\'s damn impressive.

Here\'s to next year!

People always hate the number one guy. When the Pats were the underdog everyone hated the Rams.

Hate all you want. MY team one it all for the second time in two years and your squad was at home watching the shitty ass commercials.

I really don\'t see how you can say the Pats were doing anything that the Cats were not; but you guys are totally unbiased so...whatever

BTW, GO PATS!!!!!

I wanted to talk trash in this thread SOOOO much but I have this superstition thing.

If I had to say that I disliked ANYONE from this game it would be Steve Smith. He is as cocky(cockier) as someone like TO or Sapp but he never does anything. I LOVE to see people like him lose. Which makes this win that much sweeter.

Yes sir! Hold it high.

You and Hurricane are not the \'Blind Pratriot duo\' are you? It\'s kind of like that Saturday Night Live "Gay Duo" skit.

BTW, The Pats won 15 games in a row. Their opponents were a combined 22 games OVER .500. They have not trailed in a game since November. Brady threw for 354 yards, three touchdowns, and one pick. Pretty good numbers in ANY games let alone the Superbowl.

This is not a bad/overrated team no matter how much you want them to be. If this team is bad or overrated then all of the "good" teams in the league are bad or overrated. Why? BECAUSE THE PATS BEAT THEM ALREADY!!!!

You act like Vinnie T kicked a 70 yard field goal. In every single one of Vinnie\'s big kicks in 2001-2003 Brady drove the Pats into Field Goal range. I am willing to bet that all but 5-6 teams in the league would love to have him on their squad. But hey, I\'m an idiot because I like a good team.

I win a lot of games and have good stats but I suck. WOOOO!!!

Give it a break. Football season is over. The Patriots won. Some of us cannot stand the Patriots and think they\'re over-rated but that doesn\'t change the fact that they won and football season is over. It\'s time to move on, it\'s a new day, it\'s Monday now. A day after the Superbowl and the 03 season.

Congrat\'s that your team won, but I still say F**K the Patriots.
;)

Now, onto another sport or season. Next Sunday marks the AFL start, doesn\'t it?
;)

You\'re in the clear. I know you aren\'t a bandwagon Pats hater. Its other people I don\'t like.

BTW, What is up with picking a team by the uniforms? Seriously, WTF? That may not be the gayest thing I ever read(looks in Racer\'s direction) but damn.

Like I said, I am happy for the fans of the Patriots. Your team won and it must be a great feeling. I however, am not a fan of the Patriots. Still - I can\'t deny the fact they won 15 straight games and are the winner of the Superbowl. I can only bitch and moan about why I dislike them. ;)

As for the uniforms - you mean that\'s not how you pick your favorite team? Damnit! Seriously though, the only time I have ever heard that before was from a girl , who made a comment about how she liked Phili\'s uniforms... Go figure.

Oh and as for bandwagon haters / fans. I agree. I can\'t stand either one. If you look back in the thread, I made a comment about bandwagon Chief fans and how New England was not getting any attention at all, even though they was also doin\' an outstanding job early in the season. Why? Because the bandwagon fans all jumped on the Chief\'s wagon when Dante Hall had his great kick-off return\'s. What happened when the Chief\'s defense fell apart and Dante Hall quit running kick-off\'s back every game? There was less and less Chief fans.

Let me add a quick thing also. I was not a fan of either team in the Superbowl but I had two reasons for rooting for the Panthers in this game.

(1) The Patriots stole my beloved Colt\'s Superbowl chance. Of course I had to root against them. ;)

(2) The Panther\'s was the team that no one ever took serious. Hell, I didn\'t take them serious. They worked hard to get that far, a lot of big come backs and great overtime wins. They earned it and see\'ing Jake drive that team this season and into the Superbowl, making desperate comebacks everytime. It was inspirational. I actually felt bad for him when that final field goal was kicked and was so clearly straight down the middle.

How about a Colts / Panther\'s game next year?
:D
