I am going to Hawaii again for a business trip in about two weeks.  I\'ve been there twice before on business, and both times I worked in Honolulu, then stayed over the weekend to see the sights.  I have been to Oahu and the Big Island, so I\'m planning to go to a different island this time.  I was trying to decide between Maui and Kauai, but I think I\'ve decided on Maui because I\'d like to see Haleakala National Park.  Has anyone been to Maui, and can you recommend thinks I must do while I\'m there.  I\'ll have approximately 2 days.  If you can recommend which town to stay in, or a good hotel, that would be cool too.  I\'m thinking of staying in Lahaina.  Thanks!

dayum cored I\'ve always wanted to go there, lucky you!  Whenever I go to Manhattan and I want to see what are some good hotels I check out http://www.hotels.com .  Travel Channel often airs stuff about what to do in Hawaii:

Hawaiin Destinations
Girl Meets Hawaii

If you run a search for Hawaii you get some stuff too.  I remember recently watching the top 10 Hawaiian hotels, they were beautiful, but I can\'t find a link anywhere. :rpissed:

Also remember to print out the Japanese sales figures for Da X box 2003... poke him in the eye with a SH£$ty Stick... then rub salt into his bell end & then show him the list form me.

Coredweller,  I live on the Big Island all my life.  Great fishing grounds.  Was it raining at the time you was here?  hehe! We sometimes have snow on Mauna Kea.   The hell with Kauai but people say lots of greens on that Island.   Go Maui,  SWEET beaches.

When we get snow on Mauna Kea,  It looks like this.

Looks like I\'m going to remain on Oahu this time.  I looked into the cost of flying to and from Maui, and it was way too high.  $156.00 to fly 100 miles?  Also the hotels are more expensive there.  I decided to see a few more things I never got around to on Oahu.  

Never fear, I will return in the future when I can stay longer.
