A very good reason why stupid people shouldn’t travel.

A British woman is being held in a US prison after she joked with an airport policeman that she was carrying a bomb.
Shropshire student Samantha Marson triggered a security alert as she waited to board a British Airways flight from Miami back to Britain.

The 21-year-old from Bridgnorth was asked what was in her rucksack and told officials she had a bomb.

According to the arrest report, Ms Marson placed her bag on the belt at a security check, telling a Transportation Security Administration screener: "Hey be careful, I have three bombs in here" - before allegedly repeating the joke twice more when confronted by officials.

I hope she doesn\'t get extradited and is prosecuted here and sentenced to 10 years for a federal crime.

If she is sent back, she\'ll probably just get a slap on the bum...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Ha ha!

Reminds me of the "one foot in the grave" episode where Victor Meldrew was asked by customs if he had anything to declare. "only the crack in my arse" was his reponse.

Yes it was a terribly bad joke...let\'s send her to jail for it!

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

There are signs before the security check warning people not to joke about bombs or weapons.

Jail is what she deserves.

Breaking the law is not a reason to be punished really, especialy in this scenario....

When security is under the scrutiniy of the media, government and the passengers, this kind of joke does not bode well with stressed out security personnel. They will cuff you and jail your ass coz one day, someone will try to actually sneak in a bomb.

Where have you been?

After 9/11, phony terrorism threats are federal crimes and are punishable by 10 years in prison...

A moron was caught phoning in phony bomb threats to a school in NYC, soon after 9/11, and deserves every 10 years he faces...

Don\'t wanna get in trouble? Don\'t break the law & Don\'t bitch about it.

Simple, no?
