I am interested in learning how to create my own fonts. I am ignorant to how this is done. I was looking for software and ran across Macromedia Fontographer, but I got the impression that this was rather old software because it was able to run on any Pentium class computer with 16 MB RAM according to the system requirements.
Surely Adobe has a good product out there…
I read of people scanning and then ?auto-tracing? their handwriting to create a personalized font.
