i noticed that too. i never thought about it. just took it as that\'s the culture over there. i\'ve also notice they have a thing for young girls dressed in private schools uniforms (short skirts). that stuff is just a little too perv for me. i like anime but it has to have a good story line and a mature theme ex. akira, ghost in the shell,ninja scrolls,metropolis :)

And yes, add Akira and Ninja Scroll to your list and while you\'re at it, track down Jin-Roh, which is my second all time favorite anime (right behind Akira).
