I\'ll just reserve one this time.  I did the same with the PS2 and it came about a month after release.  Ebayed that one for $450. ;)

if i did not know any one in the retail business hell yeah.

I ended up paying more for my ps2 than i wanted because of the damn rush. PS2 launch was the biggest thing I have seen for any console ever. Man the lines and lines of ppl I saw.

I am glad my cousin can just save me one:D

Who said I\'m going to get XBox 2? If it\'s shit, I won\'t, if it\'s good, I will. I don\'t care who it\'s made by. I base my decision on a number of merits; what are the launch games like? how many controllers will it take? is it online? does it have a hard drive? whats the copy protection like? will it play DVDs? how many developers are programming for it? are the games fun? does it support dolby 5.1? what\'s the price of it?

pirating games is lame and is nothing but a poor kid\'s reason to buy a console.  Bottom lines are:

- does the system have good games, 3rd party support
- price!!
- if these are relativtely the same as the competition then it can come down to extra features and dare I say brand loyalty!?

I think I\'ll be pre-orderong an X2 if Halo x is a launch title.  My days (and nights) of waiting in line for videogames are over.
