Went to the ER last night...
« on: February 06, 2004, 09:10:08 PM »
Ive been feeling heart palpitations for the past couple days...and last night while I was talking online to one of my friends, I felt my left arm go numb, and i couldnt breathe, and everything started getting fuzzy. I stumbled into the other room and screamed for my parents who woke up, and quickly drove me to the ER.

The ER couldnt figure out what was wrong with me, all signs seemed normal, so after being hooked up to the EKG, had an IV stuck in me, had an xray, blood test, and urine test, nothing came back as abnormal. I was still having the attacks though...

Today I went into for an echocardiogram, i could barely breathe or walk... pain in my chest was like being stabbed. They found out I had fluid on my heart that had been infected. But because the symptoms of this does NOT include feeling numb all over, they refered me to get a CT scan. I got the CT scan, having to get ANOTHER IV stuck in me. THat makes it 2 IVs and one blood test shot. I look like a heroin addict.

Now i just gotta wait for the results hoping nothing else is wrong...Damn its hard to breathe.

I had started taking creatine 2 weeks before...I thought maybe it caused the fluid around my heart, since its purpose is to pump water to your muscles. THe doctor doesnt THINK so, but isnt sure. If it is, I\'ll probably raise hell.

If it is the creatine you can probably make a large sum of money of one of the companies considering you live in the US and all...

I\'ve been taking creating for almost half a year with no problems...

Hope everything works out oK.

Thanks.  See, the doctor says he doesnt THINK its the creatine.  I find it hard to believe, based on that I started taking it 2 weeks before without any problems previously.

Creatine DOES pump water to your muscles, and your heart is a muscle...so couldnt the fluid be caused by it? hrm.  I dunno, right now im worried about recovering, not any lawsuits. lol.

Without my doctor saying the creatine was an influence, i do not think a lawsuit would work out as well...

hopes you are okay.  I used to suffer from shortness of breathe too.  I was feeling like dying, and i was struggling to live because of it.  I suffer from nostril problem from unneccesary nose surgery where this mean doctor stick a needle and shove it in on both of my nostrils, he said i have trouble breathing.  It was when i was 10 years old.  So he said he need to do this surgery on my nose.  That time, i was young, i didn\'t know that, he told that to my mom.  She didn\'t tell me anything, and it was during the surgery i found out the doctor is evil and my mom fall for it.  Even today, i am still upset about my mom for not telling me about the surgery, and falling for the doctor\'s word and not asking me if i have trouble breathing or not.

That time, i am breathing find, i have somewhat buck teeth and my teeth somewhat stick out, and i rarely close my mouth.  My mom thought i have trouble breathing because i rarely close my mouth.  So, she asked the doctor about it without ASKING ME FIRST IF I AM BREATHING FINE OR NOT, because that time i am breathing perfectly normal.  She fall for the doctor owns word and gave me a surgery.  Okay, i am awfully upset that she didn\'t ask me about it and now, not tell me about it.

That day i had the surgery, i was in shock, but i listen to her and remain calm as he stick those needles into my nostrils.  After the surgery, GUESS WHAT!!!!  I start have breathing problem from a wrongly surgery and headache because the brain couldn\'t bring oxygen to my nose or something.

Now, i am still suffering from constant headaches and breathing problem.  sometimes, i get worst and i was in a scare, begging for breathing like normal situation.  Sometimes, i feel better.  It go on and off like that.  I am seeing a doctor on the 12th and see what happen.

But your is different, but good luck to you man.  I have heart attack too as if the oxygen and blood is clogged in my heart, as if it have trouble pumping it to my head and nose.

do you know that when you masturbate with a numb hand it feels like someone else is doing it.

Just thought you might like to know.

You\'re an idiot.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Feeling better today, so far.  ALthough yesterday started out fine, and ended up with me needed a wheelchair for part of the day.  I hope the medication helps keep it like it is, and not get worse as the day progresses.

I\'m gonna have to wait till monday or so to get my results from my CT scan.  I hope that this is the only thing thats wrong with me...It sucks having to wait and not know.

IMO creatine wouldn\'t do this.  While it does fill the muscle with h2o it does it at the cellular level, so causing myocardial edema seems a bit out of the question to me.

Secondly, if you feel like you\'re going to die, try going to a paintball forum and see if anyone will buy you a gaming console.  (if you don\'t get the joke, don\'t worry)
