CON is out and it is SERIOUSLY awesome!

Just played the single player game with a Barbarian Warrior, gets killed by a nasty magic user orc and i restart with another warrior.

The challenge is better than BG2.Regular Orcs will use shield to block and this time you wouldn\'t be able to block your backs.
Some orcs wields magical weapons like froze sword and they will kill you very easily by slowing you down and catching up with you ,bringing a group of orcs taking advantage of the situation.

I have to retreat every time i enter new dungeons, they wouldn\'t allow you to set a foothold when you are exploring new areas.


Allies will fight alongside you, making you feel that you are in the middle of a big battle.

The music is better too, it is more frequent than DA games .The close up camera is excellent too, i use it all the time.

Overall a wonderful game.

C.O.N is an excellent game.  I have to admit I stopped playing BG II, but I must say that BGII is very good and has a steady 60FPS.  I love the random dungeon generator in CON, which allows great replayability as each game you play is a new experience.  The only gripe I have with CON is that there is some slowdown, it\'s minor, but you can notice.  The game is incredible however and more strategy is neccessary than in the 2 Baldur\'s Gate:Dark Alliance games.  I recommend getting Champions of Norrath and if you can buy another game get Baldur\'s Gate: Dark Alliance II.  Keep the action RPG\'s coming!

I too have uit playing baldur\'s gate II... (lvl 22 cleric...I got to the end but can\'t beat him...even with infinite health cheat on!!!  MF\'r keeps recharging faster than I can spank him!!)

I am hooked on CON, but my ps2 stopped reading it today... was having trouble yesterday. Reads everything else just fine.

I am in the ant tunnels. I would be farther, but I am such a whore that I collect everything and return to sell it...

Anyone care to list what unique items you found so far?

I found the Yakimata shield and some +10 staff for wizards only....

So you are a cleric fan too?, i have found a weapon of choice for my cleric, its the Gatormash Hammer(22 to 30 damage) with my modifications of (plus critical hit & plus strength).It has longer range  than ordinary mace.

By the way, the Hammer of Wrath summoning magic makes the Cleric a superman. Im only at level 14,such a wonderful,addictive game indeed.

I\'m a ranger in CON, but the cleric on BGDAII was pretty frickin strong...

I\'m going through withdrawal... exchanged the game for a new one... won\'t read that either!

Dude said other have exchanged too, must have got a bad batch...which sux, \'cos tards won\'t give me my money back to try elsewhere (opened product=exchange only!!!!)

Yeah add me to the list.  I got it too and it\'s amazing how similar bgda2 is to it.

Anyway I need to get a headset for the online biznizz.
