What plays are you guys into?

If any?

I\'ve recently found two that I think are incredible. The first is called Copenhagen, by Michael Frayn--it\'s about Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg, two nuclear phsyicists, communicating with eachother from beyond the grave about a meeting they had in 1941. I can go into more depth, if you\'d like..

And The Long Christmas Dinner, by Thornton Wilder. This is a one-act play, and extremely interesting at that.. it shows 90 years of a family\'s history, all through following their Christmas dinners. It\'s kind of abstract and I think I\'d have to see it performed to understand it in full, but it\'s a fantastic concept and it\'d obviously require some talented acting to successfully portray the various characters and their gradual aging and so forth...

If you know of any other good plays, let me know. I\'m kind of on a play kick lately, and I\'m particularly after good one-act ones.. fairly concise, but good nonetheless.

but the operetta lingers
then the piano lid comes down
and breaks his ****ing fingers

I\'ve seen a good many, but the one I like the best is still Thoroughly Modern Milly on Broadway.  Right mix of everything for any age.

I\'ve yet to see a good showing of a Christmas Carol. :(

"The Importance of being Earnest" is a pretty good one.

I also saw the "The Lady and the Lapdog" converted to an experimental comedy. The play was good; but only because I had actually read the short story. If I hadn\'t I would have been lost.

"Def Poetry Jam" isn\'t a play but it was on stage and also really good.
