Exactly, I say just put more soldiers in there and have routine inspections in houses for weapons. If there are weapons, make an example of what we think of the bodies being mutilated.

Well, they were not exactly journalists or aid workers.  Actually they were ex-military "contractors" employed by Blackwater Security Consulting as contractors to the defense department.  According to CNN, they were assigned to "provide security for food deliveries..."  Given the tight connections some of these consultants have to the DOD, I wouldn\'t be surprised if they were armed, and possibly even traveling on a mission to complete a military objective.  From Blackwater\'s website: "Blackwater Security Consulting has it roots in the Special Operations community ... Im almost ashamed to say this, but that makes me feel a "tad" bit better. Not much though as it is still pretty inhumane.

Another thing I thought of.

Its not really all that terrible when a US citizen gets dragged by a car by another US citizen. Yet during these "war" times, it is ab. disgusting. ANyone else see something wrong with that logic?

This is why I seriously think we should just take all those anti-american ragheads, and ****ing shoot them. Right inbetween their shallow, beady little eyes.

Funny, I know ppl personally that would celebrate when WE bombed something or tore the main statue of Saddam down. Whats good for the goose is not good for the gander? No, the US just needs to get the **** out of there. Curfews and lock down will only make things much worse ya think?

They lost their privelage when they decided to use a machine gun and grenades. And your statement about the US citizen dragging a body is different, because this was a more than a few people. It was hundreds. And they didn\'t just drag the bodies, they stabbed them and hung them as trophies.

And you understood my post, I want to send them an example that we will not let something like that go.

don\'t get it twisted luckee...i think alot of members feel i already have a low tolerance for racism. what happened in texas to that afri. amer. you\'re referring to was just horrible...and yes those types of scenarios get very little media attention then it\'s off the air. america isn\'t perfect by a long shot..this i know and racism will be here till the end of time..i\'ve touched on this theme in countless threads...go through the files and look up the o.j. thread

1st of all i didn\'t agree with the war..i\'m going with the context of what\'s done is done...now just let the u.s. rebulid they\'re country and get the hell outa there..did i feel the war was wrong?..yep, but since you can\'t turn back time, just let the u.s. do what they gotta do and everybody will be happy. i know there was probably iraq\'s that didn\'t like saddam but was kinda heated when they saw saddams statue come down.

all i\'m sayin is that the iraq people cannot fight city hall (the united states) & win..so just let them do what they gotta do, because the u.s is not leaving until iraq has a legitimate gov\'t and is somewhat secure.

Maybe not to that extreme, but yeah, (e), the racism isn\'t needed.  These were the actions of a small group of people.  Saying that you wanna shoot all the people in Iraq is on the same level.  And the racist remarks are not needed.  Consider that a warning.

luckee why draw parallels to what is going on in Iraq to hate crimes over here?  You are mixing apples and oranges.  Also if didn\'t hear there was outrage when that black man in Texas was dragged to death by some white guys behind their truck.  

Seriously, get over "the man has me down" syndrome and America is "racist and a bully" crap. It doesn\'t help your argument one bit.  The people who did this are in the Sunni triangle - the home of Saddam Hussein.  This has nothing to do with Islam or Arabs - it is about indoctrination and the fact that these same people know they have lost their position of power in Iraq and are desperate to show they still have some form of strength.
