Thanks for reminding me.  I will probably watch qualifying tomorrow morning at 7am PST, but I won\'t be able to watch the race until the replay at 9pm (PST) Sunday night.

As a reminder to all:  Please do not post any threads that have a subject like "____________ WINS!!!!  BUTTON ENGINE FAILURE!!!"  I don\'t want to know what happened until I can watch the replay.  :)

I will be watching too. Damn you Tyrant ;), I guess there is nothing like being there in the flesh. :D

What\'s the weather like? , no sandstorms I hope because I want to be able to see what is going on in the race. I am sure the drivers do too.

Anyone here ever go-kart competively? I\'m not talking about beach side go-karts or bumper cars. I\'m talking about leagues and such.

Those F1 racers started out very young on 40 mph karts. Wish my dad THOUGHT OF THAT! ;)

well their were problems during the second practice session with sand coming on the track, well atleast that was ferrari\'s excuse for shummi spinning ;). but other than that the weather was great (a bit on the windy side) but generally fine.

ITV couldn\'t be arsed showing the qual session live AGAIN, so I have had to wait for the delayed showing, which is due to start now.

I most certainly will be watching the race tomorrow, even if I have to do what I did for the japanese GP at the end of last season...... I set the alarm on my mobile phone to wake me up, then I bandaged it to the side of my head and fell asleep.

guys i dunno if u watched it on tv but the qualifying  session was absolutly fantastic in person,

it was a really great day i had alot of fun got to sit in a C55AMG and G55AMG, also got to see (and touch) a Mercedes SLR :D. and also got to meet Alexander wurz of the Mclaren team.
during the fist qualyfying round i got a chance to see a clear view of the pit area which was cool and also during this time i got to see a number of cars rocket right thru the staightway (the sound was amazing).

well onto the actual qualyfing session,. it was great an all out battle between ferrari and williams, u should of seen those guys go.
but too bad for Montoya  he qualyfied third followed by ralph in 4th position, 1st went to Shummi and second to barrichello 5th and 6th positons went to the BAR honda team.

also extemely bad luck for Kimmi he got the best time during the first qualyfing session, but even with that he had to deal with a penalty as they had to change his engine, and during the 2 session he had to retire due to some problems :(.

I have to say, the backdrop to the Bahrain GP is pleasing to the eye. It makes a change from the run of the mill grass & trees backdrop that other F1 tracks have.

I\'d like to see an endurance race there sometime. I could imagine it being very picturesque in the evening lighting, just as the sun is setting.
