2004 MLB Opening Day
« on: April 05, 2004, 10:59:02 AM »
Anybody else watchin\' the nonstop baseball action goin\' on right now? :)

I\'m currently watchin\' my Cubs beat the Reds 4-0 off of a Moises Alou bases loaded 3 run double. Kerry Wood\'s lookin\' alright on the mound, more average than anything.

Anybody else partakin\' in some Opening Day action?

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

Red Sox lost, predictably. If Pedro doesn\'t give it up on Opening Day, the bullpen will..

Of course, this time Pedro was victimized.. but still put up a good fight against the Orioles. 6IP, 2ER. One bad inning.

I hope I\'ll still be rooting for the Mets, come summer...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
