Luke, I got Fayded to check his team, and he accepted your offer :)

And yes, I too would love Cubs Red Sox :)  Cubs in 7.

I knew you were talking about either Clemens or Pedro but I thought you meant one player and I don\'t know of any that played 19 years with one team...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

The sooner Prior and Remmy come back, the better. Quite obvious.

See Yuz.

Updateness: Corey Patterson - 1 for what seemed like 7, about 10 total pitches :-P

Zamby did have it working, no doubt about it. 7 innings, 2 hits, gave up that solo shot to Andruw that almost gave Atlanta the win...

...Almost :)

Cubs win 2-1 in 15 innings of awesome. Todd Hollandsworth hits a 2 out Solo shot in the Top of the 9th to tie the game at 1...god that rocked. Tom Goodwin hits a Sac Fly in the Top of the 15th to give the Cubs the lead, and Bobo shuts em\' down. What a game :)

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

I am not all that into baseball. I find it too be one the boring sports to watch. It\'s fun to play but boring as hell to watch.

1. question I have what is the difference between major and minor league?

I see MLB but Mlb teams play minor league teams. What I am saying is it like two different seperate leagues who sometimes play eachother?

They don\'t play eachother.  Either you\'re thinking of National and American league where both are MLB but two seperate sides that play eachother occasionally and in the world series meeting.  If you\'re thinking of Major to Minor than you\'re just confused.  The minor leagues are a farm system before the majors where if you perform well enough you get called up to the major league team that your minor league team is associated with.  In Columbus we have the Columbus Clippers, players that do well enough there are called up to the Yankees.  That quarterback Drew Henson was playing here for a little while.

He isn\'t done. They\'re bracing for it.

It\'s called "ESPN trying to make news out of nothing whatsoever". They do it a lot...that article prolly should have been in the rumor mill, but since it\'s Prior, oh, lets spread the non-news like wildfire.

Seriouisly, ESPN just sucks...they\'re terrible. Prior, if they do this right, will be back by June. No Worries, Luke :)

In related news...did ANYONE see that Cubs Reds game yesterday? Hot damn what a game :)

I got home from work in time to see it from the 7th inning on.

AWESOME!

As for today, I think Dusty left Kerry in a little too long. But hey, Kerrys the ace, and he wanted the ball.

As far as the Prior thing goes, I know he\'s probably not out for the season. I just remember a few years ago after Wood\'s awesome rookie year he went down for an entire season and it broke my heart. It\'s taken him up untill about now to get back to dominating like we knew he could.

I just have incredibly high hopes for Prior.
