I\'ve been totally against paying a monthly fee for a MMORPG, but I\'m gonna break my own rule when World of Warcraft comes out.

From what I understand, Everquest is stil the king, ,but Dark Age of Camelot is good, and yes, some people actually do like Star Wars Galaxies.

I stopped plating EQOA: Frontiers when FFXI came out.  FFXI has a steeper learning curve and you can drop a level if you arent careful going up levels.  The graphics are BEAUTIFUL in FFXI also!  you can actually have a SUB-Job in FFXI unlike EQ, an example would be like Warrior/Thief etc......  It does have a higher learing curve than EQ tho
It is the Beast the Anti-slag come to live among us for and rule us for 7 years...the end is Nigh!

try any new MMoRPG. old RPG like EQ or DAoC would take too long to cough up with high level player (EQ would take you more then 500 hours RL playing of hardcore exp grinding )

I\'d go with FFXI, City of Heroes or Lineage2 (base on PVP, open free beta ATM)
can\'t see why not!

Did anyone see the preview of the Matrix MMORPG on the Revolutions DVD?  It looked pretty good.

Glad to hear something positive about it. Actually makes me want to give it a try. On pc of course though.

As for the matrix mmorpg, it seemed interesting at first. Just how huge it is but it was kinda jacked up. Especially fighting with a mouse and keyboard? Gotta have a controller or else thats just stupid. And it looked like shit too. Sad really.

I think Imight grab FFxi today, I wanna go for a semi newer game so that (like said before) I don\'t have to do hardcore leveling just to not suck in comparison with other players.

well if any of you get FFXI and get in the ceberus server say hi!  I am Buckhorn LV8 Warrior.  I am on the PS2 version (PC and Console players (along with the foreign people) play together)

IMHO EQOA: Frontiers has got stupid with the PVP they use.....  it is reallllly unbalanced.  the PVP that Square/enix is putting in is like basketball....
