2004 NFL Draft

The 11 year old kid that lives next to my parents house has better form than Losman.  Losman= 2004 Ryan Leaf easily.  Pickett better than Manning, nah.

I\'m telling you, Cody Pickett is so underrated.

Not a chance in hell will Perry be rookie of the year.  It\'s bad enough a team was stupid enough to pick him over Kevin Jones.  Also, talk about being cocky, you mention Manning but Perry runs his mouth yet doesn\'t back it up half as much.

I hope he can learn to shut his mouth. But if anyone but the Bills got him, everyone would be swingin\' off his nuts. We needed to get a QB, and if we didn\'t pick him this year, we\'d HAVE to pick one next year, when Bledsoe\'s contract is up. Maybe he can spend the year learning how to stay in the pocket until it collapses from his new mentor.

Well, around here anyways. If the niners picked him, vapor would have him pegged for the second coming. Also, if he was black nobody would be saying a thing about his cocky attitude. They would say "he\'s ready to play" or some dumb shit.

Johnnie Morton has to go, he\'s useless. We didn\'t address that problem. We did address the O-Line losing John Tait by trading a 5th rounder for a pro bowler, and signing Chris Bober, so that was good.

The Defense itself is actually alright, Greg Robinson just confused the shit out of them. The D-Line\'s fine -- Holliday, Sims, Browning, Hicks, and of course, R-Kal Truluck. Linebackers - Fujita, Maz (don\'t forget, Maz was gone for the last month of the season and the playoffs...and looked what happened, most underrated player in the AFC), and Shawn Barber. Not bad at all. The secondary is something we needed to address, and we did not. Instead, we resigned worthless trash William Bartee (Worst Awareness in the NFL), and kept what we already had. Warfield and McCleon, who, before he came to KC was a career Nickel Back, are back. Not bad, but it ain\'t great. We really could have used Troy Vincent, then slid McCleon into his Nickel Spot. Would have worked perfectly.

The one thing we did do on defense was address the coordinator position. Gunther Cunningham is the exact opposite of Greg Robinson -- he\'s not going to confuse them, basically :-P

Too bad the Chiefs have the schedule from Hell. Meh.

Have you even seen this kid before? He is a great QB(arguably the sleeper pick of the year) but he is a cocky sonovabitch and that turns people off.

Can you seriously name 5 players that are as cocky as Losman who aren\'t despised by everyone but the hometown team?

Did you even read my post outside of what I mentioned about your quote?

Went on to talk about how the Chiefs need another WR becuase Johnnie Morton is worthless and explained why. Not to say that the Chiefs defense doesn\'t need a little help (I think Indy just scored again), but a big WR is one of the Chiefs needs...and they didn\'t address it. I don\'t know football? I\'m insulted :-P

This is more of a side note, but I don\'t think there is anybody who knows more football than ROL Jamas. He is an encyclopedia of football knowledge. And I love him.

The Chiefs were like number 2-3 in offense last year. Offense is not a need. They need defense. They will NEVER win a championship if they don\'t upgrade defensively. They can add Marvin Harrison in place of Johnnie Morton and it will not matter if they can\'t stop anyone(which they could not do last year).

If you really think the Chiefs are a couple of offensive tools away from a championship then I stand by my statement that you do not know football.
