Who\'s afraid that the new Syphon Filter might suk

I dunno. I\'m cautiously getting psyched because I heard of hte online modes. Brings back great memories of syphon filter 2\'s deathmatch, which me and my friends played for ages. Unfortunately I get this horrible feeling that the game will be mediocre at best.

Thoughts?

Im feeling the same way man. It sounds cool but theres still that thought in the back of my head. Im probaly not gonna get.

yea i loved the first 2, didnt play the 3rd, mainly as it wasnt on ps2. i really really realy hope they do it justice, as it used to excellent. i am a bit worried it wont be all that, but im hoping for the best on it

It got 8 out of 10 in the new issue of Game Informer. They said the graphics aren\'t that great, but the replay value is high. I think it\'ll be a good game...

That\'s good. I don\'t expect it to knock me dead but I just hope it\'s a nice solid gameplay experience that does the franchise justice. I usually wait on reviews until I can look at the gamespot and ign reviews. I use those as my measuring stick so to speak when i compare scores to mags like PSM of Gameinformer. I find that gamespot is a great marker because usually (but not always) they give an accurate critique of games and their scoring system seems tougher.

In any case, I hope the online is good because I\'ve been playing Everything or Nothing online and it\'s fun but a bit shallow. I\'m hoping that SFOS will take online to another level.

I\'ve only played 1 and 2.  Was there a 3rd one?  Anyways I stopped playing it after they seemed to look all the same.

ign gave it a 7.6 ...i liked the 1st two but after that i wasn\'t really interested..only other game i\'m interested in that\'s similar is metal gear solid 3 and even that i\'m kinda dissappointed in the fact that they are not going to tie up the loose ends from part two, the other game would be shellschock 67...

Im not sure about the new SF. Im hearing mixed reviews. The new EGM, which i dont regard to highly (no offense to those that do), gave it fairly poor ratings considering my expectations.

sf was on the ps1, and the ps2 was already out for a while clips thats why i think not many peep took notice of it

I got it.  I wouldn\'t say it sucks.  But I just had to force myself to play it.  I haven\'t even finished a whole level.  I don\'t remember how the heck I ever aimed w/o 2 analog sticks.

i got the game online is pretty good. i don\'t lan on touching single player though i\'m so it\'s great  and all btu coem on in this day and age we all seem to  be playing online now and being more lazy to get up and go play at our buddy\'s houses\' or whatever but ne ways online is great and i oike the game oh and for u guys who will play single player i think they have a mini walkthrough at this site  agenecyhq.com
