Problem with cooler in PS2

sorry about my language becouse its simple in writing

It\'s small problem with cooler

Console work good,  Excacly after cleaning laser with dry compresed air , cooler can\'t start....I checked all conections in modules.....but on cooler power cords are no voltage. Even after change this cords there\'s no voltage....on connector on board there\'s no voltage.

Where i  can check or take other voltage to cooler ??

what voltage this cooler take?? 5-7V mayby 12V??

What i can do with this problem??

I think by cooler he means fan.  I wish I could help... I am sure someone with some expertise can help you.

maybe it\'s possible to try a fan normally used for a PC?  I\'m not by any means suggesting it, but I don\'t see why it wouldn\'t/couldn\'t work even if it is a bit smaller than a normal fan.

I think is possible to replace your internal cooling pan in the Ps2 with a PC cooling fan.

Also try your local independant Games shops and ask fro PS2 repairs..

It should be cheap enough to replace.

not true because I came here in regards to a prob with my PS2 and 3 and a half years later, I\'m still here. :laughing:

My PS2 feel just fine with Neew Cooling System !!!

This was simple....

I borrow new voltage from new point on board.....
What a shock......What a temp.......albolute zero :)
