Isn\'t 2.5 for videos because the drive is constantly operating, whereas the games and audio store data in memory freeing the strain on the battery because it doesn\'t have to keep the drive operating.

All I want to know is how they are going to make armored core playable on the PSP, it\'s hard enough with a fricken DS2 controller.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.
Dark Lord Sith\'s.
Demon\'s named Phil.  -LIC

I doubt I\'ll use it for movies though.. unless you can burn the mini disks, and it\'ll play DivX or something.

Im right with you there. Rebuying  my ps1 library is not something i want to do right now. Still it looks amazing. That GT4M vid cant be real. If it is then im afraid i might have to buy this one.

all i can say is wow

One thing though: I think a stand and a keyboad is going a little
too far in terms of peripherals

*one more thing: I hope this new wave in power doesnt abolish the 2d games.

The power wave will do to 2D gaming on handhelds what PS1 did to 2D gaming on consoles, most likely.

The graphics are all the more impressive on such a small screen.

Not nearly so bad as they\'re trashing the phantom... poor, poor, phantom.  Seriously though.   I can\'t believe all the phantom is running is the UT2004 demo.  Did they not realize that nobody would buy \'we couldn\'t get BB\'.....

After being amazed with what they\'ve done here...I just can\'t help but think how expensive it\'s going to be.

2.5 hours if the UMD drive constantly spins but up to 10 hours if the UMD drive isn\'t in operation.

Official uk-playsation site lists the game time at

10 Hours Music Play back
8 hours Game Time
and 2.5 hours for MOVIES.

Not bad... if fact 8 hours is more than enough.

plus there is the option for external Battery pack to boost Power if 8 hours arn\'t hardcore enough for you.

And what about 3 hour movies??? It sux that you would have to replace the batteries after every movie you watch. I dont really care about watching movies on the thing but still thats pretty cheap in that aspect.
