Music is music, some pople like certain kinds, some people like others.  Hating people for like a certain type of music is well, immature.

Thats why I skipped the essentials. Everyone has heard of The Clash, Pistols etc.

Check out some operation ivy.

Again

Some of those bads are quite far from punk. Death Cab For Cutie is definately NOT punk. At the Drive In, i guess you could say they are a bit harder but not punk. I really dont need to go on, im just letting you and whoever is interested know.

Street Dogs on the other hand is pretty punk. My friend Krystin loves them and i always tease her about it. Good Times.

And finally something somewhat positive from Spudz. Op Ivy is definately punk. And I too cant stand emo but I couldnt possibly hate somebody for it.

I think it\'s just a lot easier for some punk elitests to bash bands that they have probley never even heard, then for them to actually consider that a band that is a bit more mainstream might even be..... good!

2)If you are: I am not a Punk elitist
3) I have heard of most of those bands
&
4) They are not punk and i never said anything about mainstream music (The thread is about little known PUNK bands)

That is all.

I was refering to other people lord nicon.

And i listed bands that are either punk or have some punk influence, cept for maybe Deathcab.

Plus, if theomen only listened to classical punk style, he\'d be missing out!!!
