I saw somehting like this in a magazine - it would have to be soo accurate. Dont know why the bullet woudnt just slip down the side of the sword

Yes but the point I think the video was trying to make of course only visually since I dont know a lick of japanese. One shot two holes meant the sword cut the bullet in half....

been a chink of the bullet.(after impact)

it would be intrsting to see picture of the bullet, to see if it was sliced in two.

or

if that second hole was caused by a fragment of metal (either of the sword or bullet)

I think it\'s quite clear from the footage that the sword split the bullet and that the sword remained intact.
