IMO Pitch Black would be best described as a failed attempt at suspence.

I think I could do a more realistic movie in the shed with a handicam.

ok well I bought it.... It doesnt get released till the 1st apparently this is the unrated version whatever that means. Plus a ticket for chronicles so I guess Im in. If anyone is intersted I will msg back in this thread of wether or not I thought it was scary. Thanks everyone!!!

Good Film.... But its about as Scary as a episode of FARSCAPE.

Mind you if you where scared of the Dark... it might not be the film to get you over that fear.

LIC did you really get anything out of it... I had a very difficult time watching it after the first 10 minutes.  The only humor I found in it was the House of the Dead video game scenes that would pop onto the screen every so often.

I watched pitch black over the weekend and actually thought it was pretty cool DAMN that blondie in the movie is HOT AS HELL when she bent down to go into the hole all I could think of was exploring a hole myself. I wasnt scary and I thought the fact the kept the creature not to well lit actually helped them not so faky as most monster movies do.

So what I dont like scary stuff I had no idea wtf pitch black is from the name and the previews it could have been easly a scary movie so I dont start watching something and then go oops this is scary and turn it off if it looks scary and sounds scary I just dont watch it.

I simply do not understand how a grown man can be scared of movie\'s. I have small cousins who watch \'Faces of Death\' and sleep tight at night...:shrugs:
