If Hitler didn\'t cause holocaust, how would he...

Have been remembered?

Since he was inept at best being a military leader, I\'m going to have to go with political genius.

Thoughts?

I agree; political genius. He was a great orator and told the people what they wanted to hear. However he still would have a dark cloud because of extreme militarism and imperialistic ideals.

I would say he was a great political strategist.  He used the depression to fuel German Nationalism and ride that wave to power.

Hitler was a very powerful leader and it\'s obvious. I find it funny how neo nazis/skin heads praise a half breed jew who was gay and only had one nut. Not to mention he took the easy way out.

I heard Hitler have syphillis?  Is that true?

Also, I rememeber my 11th grade U. S. history once asked us, "How many people did Hitler killed?"

A girl said over 6 milions, but the truth is, he didn\'t killed anyone by his own hand.  Instead, he made people do the killing for hims.

I guess he\'s a very good promotional speaker.  But I think either people are too nice or didn\'t think about it because Hitler doesn\'t have any blond hair or blue eyes nor is he 100% Christian, and also he\'s is psychotically crazy.

Also, I remember another substitude teacher said Hitler farts a lot.  When he was giving speech out to the troops or commanding them, he let out farts that some of them have to back off from him.

Hitler was one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, public speaker of modern times. Despite what we think of him he knew how to get a crowd behind his cause. That was potentially his greatest weapon.

He had Parkinson’s, not sure about syphilis.

A funny thing I remember seeing in a documentary about A.H.

Before the war an American (not sure what he was, a politician perhaps) said:

"America needs a Adolf Hitler" or something like that. ;)

Hitler a jew?  That is nothing more than an myth.  Gay - another myth to degrade his position in history as a great political strategist.  One testical - true, but apparently it was common for the time period.

Ernst Rhome who was the leader of the brown shirt SA was the biggest Nazi homosexual.  During the Night of the Long Knives the SS rounded him up while he was having an escapade with another man along with his followers and Hitler had them killed.  This wasn\'t only done due to his sexually deviant behaviour, it was done because Rhome was a political threat to Hitler.

He killed himself because he saw what happened to Mussolini when he was captured.  I wouldn\'t exactly like the idea of my body being strung up and mutilated as well.  Not to mention it wasn\'t the Americans or the British that were going to capture him.  The Russians were the German\'s most despised enemy and were looked upon as barbarians.  When they entered Berlin there are accounts of Soviet soldiers raping young girls and old women, stealing toilets (and anything else that was permanately fixed to the ground, and not accepting surrender from German troops, but rather shooting them on sight.

A promotional speaker?  What product was he promoting? ;)

What are they teaching in school now a days?

For the record:

1.  Hitler had brown hair and blue eyes.

2.  Hitler was not religious nor was he a Jew.

3.  Crazy?  Perhaps towards the end of the war after the attempt on his life, but I would rather call it extreme paranoia.  Regarding the Final Solution - it was Reinhard Heydrich who authored that along with other officials such as Adolf Eichmann.

"On January 20, 1942, Heydrich invited senior officials from state and party offices to a conference in Wannsee, Berlin. He revealed to them his plan for the "Final Solution," which included Europe being "combed through from west to east for Jews."

I also have a good idea as to why the guy who told you he farted is a substitute teacher.

Same here, even the King liked him (some people believe that it was thanks to the King we were not attacked), but later he referred to Hitler as a "dangerous fool".

Henry Ford donated money to Hitler in the beginning of his political career IIRC. And I think the Germans gave him an Iron Cross for it.

Its Difficult to say how history would of been changed if he didn\'t cause the holocaust or even started World War 2.

In Fact who\'s to say that the Second World War wasn\'t Inevitable.

I do remember from history leasons that if Hitler died in a accident during his early years of power (before the War)...

he could be seen as one of the greatest leader of all time for leading Germany out of Recession and on the road toward being Self-sufficient.

Its only now with the power of hind sight we see the REAL reason why he wanted Germany to be Self-sufficient.
