Knight Rider, Baywatch and German music superstar (ahem) David Hasselhoff is busy recording his first hip hop album in LA.

The 51-year-old actor, who, bizarrely, has a hugely successful career as a rock singer in Germany, is teaming up with rap legend Ice-T for the project.

"The man is a legend," Ice T told The Sun. "And we are going to show a whole new side of him. He\'s gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff - I promise you. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour."

Hasselhoff famously performed his signature song Looking For Freedom (which spent 8 weeks at No.1 in Germany) at the destruction of the Berlin Wall in 1989, but his most recent UK exposure has been the Sky TV ads alongside former EastEnder Mike Reid. He\'s also said to be working on a movie version of Knight Rider.

i heard about this..i thought it was just  a rumor..i guess those people over there are feelin\' his hairy chest..:p..meh i have nothin\' against hassolholf (spell) i use to watch knight rider back in tha day...anyway if william hung can make a hit..hell anyone can...

dont know if this is true either as I havent heard anythign about it untill i saw the post elsewhere.

One thing is for sure tho, he is certainly better than Hung.

He\'s already done it Kurt for a christmas song, and it was dope. :laughing: I\'ll see if I can find the link of the song for you all too listen to.

This has got to be by far the dumbest and funniest $#!t ive heard in a long time. I mean I respect ice t and no matter how many people hate him, ive liked him, but what the hell is he thinking? A 50 something y/o rapper. Not to mention that hes white and was on baywatch!

OMG. Please. Get this crap the hell off here. I cant even listen to the whole thing. This is the worst thing ive ever heard. And it better just be for children (NOT IN AMERICA!). I cant believe hes already been doing this crap.

Have you seen one of his music video? There is this one where he is flying through the air like Superman… horrendous comes to mind, but it\'s funny at the same time. :laughing:
