10.0 Presentation
An outstanding, high-level production, beautifully presented with a superb intro movie, solid cutscenes and one monster tutorial.
9.0 Graphics
Great detail, excellent use of blurring, awesome particles, fire and explosions, great looking character models, and superb environments.
9.0 Sound
Solid, likeable themes, ranging from atypical militaristic to local Arab and Muslim influenced music. Great voice talent and well written lines. The constant chatter is always amusing.
9.0 Gameplay
Solid mechanics and innovative design push this game into an area no one\'s been before. It doesn\'t quite bloom into as deep a game as it could, but that\'s what sequels are for.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The 10-12 hour single-player campaign is much harder if you bump the difficulty level. The co-op LIve part is great, but where are all the online mini-games, or adversarial for starters?

Yeah, why can\'t there be a game where the US military saves the country from an amish revolt?

I love Ghost Recon but FSW is my first ever RTS game I ever played and It\'s a blast in every way!
Here\'s some first level screens I took on my Samsung LCD HDTV. I thought the 5 levels of training was great but now on the first level on the real mission the game really starts! WOW! Go buy it!

Bah, and then GameSpot go ahead and give it a 7.7.
Doesn\'t sound bad, but a rental first. I generally agree with GS\'s scores, but that\'s just me.

July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
