Kurt Warner is a New York Giant

Eli Manning won\'t be starting for the Giants,

but 2-time NFL league MVP Kurt Warner will

Details are he signed a 2 year contract that the Giants can void after 1 year if he blows it (which I doubt he will)

Shockwaves your team now has the quarterback that can give you a championship

Oh god.

This can only lead to even more interesting arguments. Yay.

I\'m hopin\' for the best for Warner...but if he DOES blow it, would that not cement the fact that maybe he\'s a little past his prime in the NFL, alliswell?

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

Might not be a bad idea. When the old man runs out of juice, put the young man in.

It\'s not like they won\'t have similar styles b/c I\'m sure they play together often.

If anything, I cant wait to see what Walter Paytons son and Brian Urlachers brother will do in the NFL.

If he gets decent O-line help from NYG young O-line and a good running game from Barber,  plus this \'I got to prove myself\' mentality that Martz and the Rams put in him mentality leaves him,  and he still does bad,  then yes,  he\'s lost his touch.

A question for discussion is what does he need to do to make one consider his stay in New York a failure,  and what would you consider a success?

a failure= to play like he was before bulger replace him

success= to play like he did when they won the superbowl

my prediction= hell just be another qb trying to get a starting job but not good enough to actually have it sealed. Any day of the week he could get replaced. Kind of like a Tim Couch but old and has played well before then sucked

I think that is asking too much,  for him to play like he did during that superbowl year,  he doesn\'t have Torry,  or Marshall,  and I\'m sure he won\'t throw 35 tds

Don\'t fool yourself alliswell.  Warner won\'t lead us to a Super Bowl, we aren\'t to that point yet.  We had some glaring needs and addressed none of them.  QB was not a need for us immediately.  That, and Warner will prolly start for only a year.  Plus, if we don\'t improve our O-Line a little more, Warner could be down in a couple games, judging by his last few years with the Rams.

I like the signing a lot, but I know we aren\'t getting an MVP or anything.

Oh, and Torry when he was playing with Warner isn\'t too far off from Toomer as he is now.

It really doesn\'t matter, he\'s in the division owned by the Eagles.

Hey, three consecutive NFC East Titles.  They never had the most talented team...but the great (albeit aggravating) coaching ways of Andy Reid, Brad Childress, and Jim Johnson made the Eagles successful.  Now that they\'ve got talent to go into this great system, barring any major injuries, we\'ve got it made.

tru...i don\'t hate the eagles..it just seems they got off to a really bad start last year..& when they did get on a roll, they\'re offense really wasn\'t posing any real threats...i think it had to do with the recieving corp...but in any case they are in better shape this season...oh and shocky i think you\'re a cool cat and all but your team of choice sucks (giants) ;)

as far as dallas is concerned,..i was shocked just as everybody else when they got into the playoffs..i didn\'t expect those cats to get into the offseason at all...

I did expect Dallas to make a run at the playoffs last year.  Parcells is the most valuable man in football, more so than any player, GM, or other coach BY FAR.
