AMD is a budget minded CPU, always has been, always will be

and about my Ati purchase, im anxious. although the performance on d3d games is close, openGL is a wash

when the 6800u\'s are available, i can sell my 800xtpe for well over 550$ (thats like 23958 wood chips to you)
