I have both Sirrius and XM - I like the content on XM better and my girl likes Sirius, so I guess it all comes down to personal preference.

But XM is commercial free now, though I never noticed any commercials on the stations I listened to anyways.  But they are very similar and for the price difference XM is a better deal.

They are actually pretty easy to get for free.  They run promotions quite often.  But the unit I have is very basic.  Sounds the same, but very basic.

Thats true! I did get the Sirius setup for free.  I have not seen any recent promotions, but they did seem to be running them for awhile.
