I know you have it vid, and I want to pick it up.  Any advice?  I just did a quick search, and it seems you can it to work with the existing car stereo? Should I just go for the All in one?

Does your car have a line in?  I was able to take the changer input and go in there.  Not too sure how the FM modulation works with it.  I\'m sure it still works fine, but damn it\'s so much better than FM it\'s just sick.  You forget how many commercials there are and how shitty it sounds till you use XM/Sirius for a while then go back.

I\'d get XM/Sirius if I listened more to the radio. It is interesting though and will probably get it one day. Which is better, XM or Sirius or do they both have the same/similar broadcasting?

They are both similar.  If you are into music, go with Sirius.  They have 0 commercials on their music channels.  XM has commercials on some of their channels.

If you are into talk radio, go with XM.  Since they are half owned by Clear Channel, they have all the main talk show hosts on there.  Sirius is really light on the talk side.

Same here. I convert my MP3s to waves and put them on my own cds. But some times when I don\'t have a new CD, I\'ll listen to the radio. FM sucks  If I were to go with it, I would go with Sirius, since Vid says there\'s more music. The only talk show I actually like is Howard Stern.

Are they the same price per month?  Im trying to find out how much its gonna cost me to set it up.  I do like some talk radio here and there.  Are there DJs on any of the channels?  or is it just straight music all the time?

They are about the wsame now.  I think Sirius is down to like 9 bucks or you can buy a life time for like 250 bucks or something.  I think XM is about the same.

One more thing, Sirius KICKS ASS IN SPORTS!!!!!

They have exclusive contracts with NFL.  They will be broadcasting every game.  They also broadcast all of the hockey, NBA, MLB playoffs and a heck of a lot of games in the season.  They are sick on sports stuff.  It\'s really cool hearing sports without the crappy AM reception.

thats cool.. Im not really into listening to the games on radio, rather watch.  Im kinda torn on the whole talk radio thing, I do like listening to The Monsters in the Morning and the Drew show here in Orlando.

But you can still listen to regular radio, so I suppose thats no big deal.

I heard XM has more "personality" since the DJs will make it sound like traditional radio and breath some life into things.

All I listen to is CDs and switch to FM to hear the news once in a while.  I\'m not ready for yet another bill, but those comedy channels sound very cool.

THere are DJs between songs on Sirius as well.  THey are actually pretty good.  And a lot of their sweepers are pretty cool.

Just picked up XM.  I was gonna get the Sirius, but the chick at Best Buy (which was pretty hot BTW) told me some things that made me change my mind.  XM added 20 more stations and took out all commercials on the music channels.  Plus they maintained the $9.99/month fee.  Its cool.  I just hooked it up and had it activated.  Now I just have to figure out how to use the damn thing haha
