Nightmares
« on: June 23, 2004, 09:37:58 PM »
A few nights ago I had one that kept me up for a while. Me and my friends were just chillen in my room and there was a bright flash and saw a mushroom cloud come up and all we could do was just sit there and wait for it to come.

I think the worst thing about nightmares is that when you wake up you aren\'t thinking straight and take it too seriously.

I had one a year or two ago when the sun exploded and I was in the car with my mom. She started screaming and I said "holy shit". Kind of freaky. Has me still thinking to this day sometimes. I had a dream a couple nights ago that I had a katana and started chopping people\'s heads off. Very weird.

I have nightmares everyonce in a while and I thrash around in my sleep, throwing punches and such.  I once punched a wall while I was asleep and woke up with a bleeding hand.  Luckily for the most part I can relise I\'m dreaming and control what happens, or change it into a sex dream staring all of you

I love my dreams. I never have a normal dream. There are always odd things going on in them. The experiences are always pretty crazy and most of my nightmares are just as enjoyable despite their scariness.

Strangely enough, a semi large number of mine have the aliens from alien etc. Why? hell if i know but they certainly make for good nightmares. I guess its a childhood thing. Sometimes i wish i could record my dreams. They are usually far to long or vivid for me to type about them here in a minute or so.

Hmm... my last nightmare was weird... I was pushing an old lady in a wheelchair across a bridge, and then the bridge gave way right when she rolled on it, and she fell to her death. I felt so bad.

I have a nightmare every now and then, each one of them involves people breaking into my house and usually ends with a gun at my head.

It\'s also frightening that there are several people all wearing black ski masks...and they\'re always yelling...oh, god

goes to hide in a corner[

I used to have extremely scary and weird nightmares.  The worst one I can remember was when I was still living at my parents\' house.

I dreamed that I woke up to go to the bathroom, I was wearing boxers and an unbuttoned shirt.  I walked into the bathroom (with the lights out) after taking a leak, I washed my hands, and turned my back to the mirror to dry my hands on the towls. As I was drying my hands, something grabbed my shirt and started pulling me towards the mirror.  I had my back to the mirror still, so I couldnt see what it was, It pulled me al the way up to where my back was now up against the mirror, where I started shaking intensly.  I woke up right after that, sitting on the backboard of my bed....  Very scary

My last nightmare was I was in a parking lot late a night and I was with a girl and I turned to her and there was a flash and then it went all black and white and grainy looking and she drops I walk around this truck and she\'s laying on the ground dead then it goes through my eyes and something hits me in the back of the head and I drop.   I wake up and I\'m on the floor with a bump on the back of my head.

I had my first one in a long ass time last night. I dont remember that much of it, just that i saw a thing that looked like a fat jar jar binks and i was weirdly freaked out by it and i knew it was a dream so i was trying to wake myself up but i couldnt.

I had this one recurring dream where i would run through a long hallway and randomly someone would appear in front of me but i couldnt see it. All i saw was a figure where if u stare into the sun everything is blurred and u cant see the person. Then i ran the other way for a while until the same thing happened. Then that continued for a while.

I don\'t even remember having dreams anymore, but I had a nightmare the other night.

I was just drifting off to sleep and it actually happened while my eyes were still open so it was definitely realistic.

I was looking from my bed through the darkness into my room and i could just make out the outline of a girl standing next to the bed. She was facing me but I couldn\'t make out any detail. She was saying "I\'m going to get you. I\'m going to get you."

At first I thought a friend of mine who was over that night had come back in, but when I realized it wasn\'t her, I didn\'t know who it was. I tried to talk but couldn\'t breath in enough to speak.

I finally willed myself to take a deep breath and got some words out like, "The hell you will." That woke me up, but really I was half awake anyway, so the girl just disappeared in the darkness and my eyes came into focus.

Really creapy. I imagine people who talk of ghosts have similar experiences to that one and don\'t realize it\'s a dream.
