My Little Game Project - Nikki the Ninja - COME LOOK!

Whell 4 months after releasing Duke Nukem: W4F, I\'m steaming ahead with my next project. ^_^ It\'s an original creation - in that no one can sue me because I used their character(s) without permission. I kinda held off in posting this because I got ZERO HELP the last time \'round. But after some encouraging posts in OT, I thought, what the hey! Here\'s some background info on it:

A corrupt Samurai Damio has been going about the countryside kidnapping innocent children for his demented, cultish rituals. With an army of ninja, fire sorcerers, necromancers and other assorted monstrosities, he has little care of who he offends. Now he has kidnapped your little sister, Michelle! :O

Obviously he has no idea who you are.

You are the deadly, ninja warrior, known as Nikki! Cause all sorts of carnage with your katana and shuriken and be showered with the blood and body parts of your enemies! This game aims to be a Kill Bill style blood bath, through and through. RAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

This game is built on top of the STX001 engine.

**Press F1 for control instructions and key references
**Slash at on coming ninja stars to deflect them back
**Hold crouch and jump at the same time to do a super jump
**You can cling to the side of walls

Yes.. kiss me... Naww here\'s where I\'m needing help:
*need someone to improve and do new tiles for the levels.
*same thing with the backgrounds.
*need a music sexpert who can compose/find small file, but still good, music

... so yeah....

mmm ill consider doing some music. havent tried it but it sounds better than DN W4F

Whats wrong with the current music? Unoriginal (as in its not yours)?

I say work on a couple of new animations. I know you arent finished and this could actually be semi decent but depending im sure we all know (including you) what you could do to spice it up. Controls are a little difficult too.

well the music came with Multi Media Fusion as a media pack. It says I\'m licensed to use them for anything, royalty free. ^_^ the problem is they\'re too damn big. that 15 second, looping track is over a meg! I\'m obviously looking for the same style and possibly some "japanesey" things, but please please make them small files.

Volume 2, while nothing like Volume 1 was still an excellent film.

anyway, doom3 may have a nice graphics engine but all they do with it is pimp fatass zombies with no hair. NOT MY GAME!! It\'s SECKSY

sneak peek demo two is released!
   -new wall grabbing graphics for Nikki and the enemy ninja
   -a new enemy, the "rice sorcerer" that casts fireballs
   -an entirely new level prominently featuring the rice sorcerer.
   -modified level 1 to include the rice sorcerer
   -external resources are now placed into a single sub directory
   -resource directory is changeable in the setup page.
   -new splash screen for the main menu. ^_^
   -new music.

I liked Kill Bill 2 a lot more than the first one. Much better overall.

Avatarr why don\'t you transfer this game to the doom 3 engine.

whell, I\'d probably need to buy GameSpace so I can convert my Poser models to the appropriate format.. and there\'s also the simple matter of getting my hands on Doom3...  but a game like this wouldn\'t be very good for the engine. for one thing, it\'s outdoors.

no, it\'d probably be better to make a Jedi type of mod where the lighting can be used to it\'s fullest.

OOOKAY!!!!!! Sneak Peek Demo 3 is out:
  -new enemy; the necromancer!
   -new level prominently featuring the necromancer
   -new usable necromancer weapon
   -players can use above to make their own armies from fallen enemies!
   -new FX level setting for further scalability
   -new music
   -new tiles and backgrounds

I don\'t wanna toot my horn, but that text in bold is really something, I think. I hope it really IS something.
