Need more music
« on: July 03, 2004, 11:17:17 PM »
Im getting bored with the music iv had. Im either getting bored with the bands i have now, or i cant sit through anything new that i try to listen to. I kind of have a wideish range in likes but the bands that i dislike are the deep deep deep vocals (like Immolation).

Bands i listen to:
Slipknot
System of a down
At the Gates
In Flames (only listened to Colony)
Korn
Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer
Mudvayne
RATM
Morbid Angel (only listened to Covenant)

yea. I dont know that many bands. Dont know where to start.

"wideish" range? It seems that you only listen to rock/metal to me.

Dimmu is alright.

Id say more but im in ohio on my dads extremely uncomfortable laptop and i really cant stand being in one place for too long with this thing.

some of the bands listed are ok and then there are some that i dont really like. (not that that matters). But if i remember correctly Arch Enemy is pretty decent (female lead) if you are into that. I hear some people are into Avenged Seven fold, atreyu, and people like that. Killswitch. Im not too much into them but maybe you could give them a try.

Maybe Marduk or... idk. something. like i said, im not going to go into detail.

Dimmu Borgrir rules

Get some Ministry, Arch Enemy, and some Classic Slayer.

Thats all I need for my head banging needs.

Well I\'ll have to recommend them again:
Strapping Young Lad (City or self-titled albums recommended). If you like Slipknot, you should like these guys. Though, the make the \'knot look like childs play.

Or some other of Devin Townsends projects (Ocean Machine, Devin Townsend Infinity or Terria, Devin Townsend Band - Accelerated Evolution)

Definately Meshuggah, their drummer is a ****ing machine.

You might also like some Amen.
