When you was a child....

  • What was your favorite cartoon?
  • What was your favorite toys?
  • What was your favorite movie?
  • What was your favorite food?
  • What was your favorite videogame?
  • What is your favorite childhood memory?


As everyone knows a person\'s taste changes as he grows older. How have your changed?

 Mine actually have not changed all that much.

  • I was a huge fan of Superfriends when I was fairly young. As I grew older I became a huge fan of Batman: The Animated Series . While I am still a fan of Superfriends (* /hugs his new DVD set of \'Challenge of the Superfriends\' Season 1 set / *) , I have to say \'Batman: The Animated Series\' is my all time favorite. Not only because it\'s a great show when you are young, but it holds up with the adult theme\'s as you grow older.

  • The original \'Superfriends\' toys. I still remember my "Hall of Justice" playset and the toys...The toys with CLOTH CAPES. Toys took a huge downfall when they went with plastic capes, in my opinion.  Now\'a\'days, I still enjoy some of the DC Direct stuff, but I would really like to rebuy all of the original SuperFriends toys.
  • I loved \'Superman 4: The Quest for Peace\'. Of course I was young so I didn\'t notice things like the flag waving in space, the wirework in space, the fact that there is a woman in space ... All I knew was there was Superman and  Solar Man! It seemed like the greatest thing ever.

  • The one thing that has never changed... Pizza.

  • I\'m not quite sure on this one. I have always had an extensive collection of games to play, if nothing else because I hung out at Capcom\'s house.  An early favorite though was \'Super Metriod\'.

  • Not sure on this one. :(

Definately my toy cars. I would use them as though they were transformers. The only problem is that they didn\'t transform, so I just stood them up straight. I named them each after my favorite characters from Aliens. The Lamborghini was Hicks, the Porcshe was Hudson, etc. etc.

Probably my stuffed toys that my girlfriend has given to me. The little tiger (Benny!) would be my favorite.

Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Trigger, Burnout 2, Dune 2, etc etc.

They didn\'t need to transform! I had my I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N! With just the power of thought, their wheels would magically transform into... arms and legs! I would spin them really fast to punch and kick!

When I was a child...

X-Men series on FOX.

I loved X-Men action figures, and my Sega Genesis to death.
  • What was your favorite movie?
I watched Sandlot a lot... but I think Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore were my favorites at the time.

Dang, I could eat anything when I was little. Nothing beat chocolate chip cookies tho.

Street Fighter II: Championship Edition and Landstalker both for the Sega Genesis

Definitely playing sports, and always talking about victories and losses at school and recess. Good times.

What was your favorite cartoon?

I never watched TV much (I still don\'t), but my favorite cartoon would have to have been TNMT. My favorite cartoon now is probably Family Guy :)


What was your favorite toys?

Legos most definitely. Still have them all too. My favorite toy today is either my iPod or my digital camera.


What was your favorite movie?

Jurassic Park. I thought the special effects were killer (they still are, but you can see their age). I had a huge fascination with dinosaurs, so this movie was naturally my favorite. Now it\'s Office Space.


What was your favorite food?

Kraft Mac and Cheese, no homemade stuff. I\'d lick the plate clean. I\'ve changed very little, but I would toss a 20oz steak with a plate of Mac and Cheese.


What was your favorite videogame?

The first video game I really got into was Rainbow Six for the PC, which came out when I was about 11. The sequal to Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear (+Urban Operations), still remains my favorite game. This is followed closely by Gran Turismo 3, though.


What is your favorite childhood memory?

No Idea.

What was your favorite cartoon?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for sure. Others include Dragonball, SAMURAI PIZZA CATS, Xmen, Spiderman.

What was your favorite toys?

My 3 mice from the TV show Biker Mice From Mars. I used to pretend that they were wrestling and made up storylines and preformed matches. Still do. :(

What was your favorite movie?

Homeward Bound!

What was your favorite food?

Pizza.

What was your favorite videogame?

NES years-Mario 3.
SNES years-Super Mario World(probly number 1 choice), Super Metroid, Mario RPG(!), Zelda, Mario Kart, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man X, Donkey Kong Series, gd SNES was awesome.
64 years-Mario 64, Goldeneye, Zelda OOC..awesome awesome games.

When I was 10 my mom left my dad and we moved into an apt complex our neighboors where strippers and would look out over me while my mom went to work or whatever during that summer because they where home during the day... God I spent alot of time at there place :bounce:

Thundercats. Hands-down.

What was your favorite toys?
GI Joe. I remember making "bases", w/ my brothers, that consisted of string tied onto door knobs and bed posts for the joes to hang and slide on.

Hot Wheels. This was before hot wheels had all of those tracks. We had a game called "Crash Action" which was almost like Destruction Derby meets Marbles using Hot Wheels.

TMNT action figures. These are the last toys that I remember playing with. Leonardo was my favorite turtle so I had all of his variations.

I don\'t think I had a favorite but Sonic(the original) probably got the most burn when I was a kid.

The summer where everyday consisted of jumping off of a second story porch onto an old mattress(all morning) and playing football in the street before riding bikes up the block to the public swimming pool. Good times.
