Yes, I would not consider Mitsubishi these days because of their financial condition, but if the deal was REALLY sweet, it may be worth it. If the car had 80 miles on it, that means it was test driven before you got it; a car fresh of the boat from Japan should normally have about 12-15 miles. However, since this is a Lancer, it\'s probably ok because I doubt the people who test drove that car would have beaten the snot out of it. Did you get an AT or manual transmission?
Now the good news. You can some reasonable power increases with relatively affordable parts. Of course, "affordable" is a relative term, but I think for this car, the parts market is broadening. A turbo kit will actually put you into the 230 - 250hp range. Please wait until after your Mitsu warranty expires though.

Simpler mods such as chip, intake & exhaust are widely available. Make sure you can return the car to stock though, because Mitsu is notorious for voiding warranties on the basis of modifications or driving at any track / autocross event.
