As far as respect goes, they dont have to like us, but they damned well better respect us. we give them EVERYTHING they need. we give em couchs, beds, tv\'s, dvd players, vcr\'s, microwaves. all types of shit. as far as trust, as they say, "you can only trust em as far as you can throw em." even though they fly relatively far after a 25mm hits them (or whats left of them) you cant trust em for jack. the first casualty we had here was due to the iraqi police giving the hodgies the weapons, in which we supplied also. go figure.

Its hard to say. I like to stay the hell out of politricks. I was sent here to do my job, not get caught up all that propaganda horse shit. i just want to kill as many of them as possible while i can and get the hell outta dodge. IMO this place isnt getting any better as far as i can tell, its the same as it was in april, if worse. Our convoys are getting hit almost daily now. the fightings not in fallujah so no one hears about it. f*ck the news.

No, I didnt have the hatred I have for them now. Probably cause these cowards cant fight like men hiding behind women and children. They have killed marines/freinds alike. its not easy to like someone who wants to kill you and those around you. The hate these people have for americans is off the wall. they capture and slaughter american contracters like its the thing to do, and setting off IED\'s everyday killing and injuring americans. what do they care? they are all in the same in my eyes. dead. just give us the chance.
As far as we know, we are still on a deadline date to be back in the states in October. Maj Gen Mattis, First Marine Div Commander seemed to have backed this up today so we will see. Things change fast.
