This place is hanging on a limb to be honest... Its getting harder and harder to post in even OT... Not having a main page is destroying these forums...

PSX2 Central\'s traffic rank on Alexa.com is over 700,000.  Most gaming fan sites that succeed fairly well are around 200-300 thousand.  Yea, it\'s looking a little grim but their are many loyal members.

All I can say is the lower the better, Im not sure what classfies as a terrible ranking.      But PSX2central used to be the hotest PS2 fansite around, along with PS2web which is long gone.  I know PSX2central had to be atleast as low as 100,000 at that time, especially if they were sending people to E3.  I do recall mm mentioning PSX3central being under works though.  Thing is the site should be well up by now as several ps3 fan sites are already up and running.  The most popular being ps3insider and ps3portal.

I like it the way it is.  I check about 3 times a day on average just to see what\'s new and depending on how far I spread the time between visits, it\'s anywhere between 14 and 24 threads with all new posts.  So over a 24-hour period, there\'s at least 50 threads with new posts.

Not bad at all for the daily visitor.  I hate forums where it\'s impossible to keep up with everything happening\\being said.

*the thanks was to psj...& yea i agree with you ryu,..i guess it\'s not good the way it is? i mean i would think having over 4000 members & over 400,000 posts would mean some type of staying power...

The old site (or whatever you want to call it) to me was the most professional appearing fansite at the time.  And this was before every teenager on the block began to start their own.  My question is, where the hell is Bjorn?  I mostly lurk, so maybe someone can tell me.

In my opinion the new site attracted people initially, but the forums would keep people coming. Once I found the forums, I never checked the main site again.

The thing is I alternately post here and at offtopic.com

This place is kind of like a small bar, where you know everybody... Then OT is like a big club where you recognize a few people, but you really don\'t know whats going on.

Sorry, its 1:10 a.m.
