What I just saw
« on: August 03, 2004, 10:39:18 AM »
Since I was banned from the CE forums b/c I touched a button of an admin, I thought I should post it here.

I just saw the scariest yet coolest thing ever.

Two F-16 fighter planes were right above my house. Really low and it made all kinds of alarms go off. In fact they are still going around in circles outside.

I thought "hmm maybe their just cruising" Nope, they were chasing another white plane. They were going around in circles around him and then you heard this hissing noise. At first I thought it was missles but then the plane that was way behind the other plane all of a sudden was right next to the other plane. Anyways everybody got out their house, momma\'s called their kids you know.

I just thought I would share it.
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.

You know there is an National Guard airbase in North Ft. Worth?  It could have been an excercise.  I used to see all sorts of cool stuff when I lived there - stealth bombers, etc.  We will see...

That sounds right. We have air shows near my house occasionally and there are always Blue Angels flying over.

Yeah they have some cool air shows there.  Could have been a rehearsal.  I haven\'t seen anything pop up about any incidents.

I\'m sure if it were an "incident" we wouldn\'t hear about it...

It was most likely a training exercise. While I was at the beach one day last week, I saw an Apache attack helicopter fly down the shoreline and turn in to land, sortof. Kind of cool. It may have been fully armed, I don\'t remember.

THis would be considered a current event?  Maybe it\'s good you were banned.  You have no clue where to post anyway.

Why was he banned from \'Current Events\'?  Honestly, he offered a different viewpoint than the majority in that forum. No, I don\'t agree with him on most things, but I don\'t think it is fair for him to be banned for that... Honestly, I see him no different than Gigashadow, they both take things to the extreme level of seriousness (and I disagree with both, go figure). So, what exactly is the reasonin\' for his being banned? If this is how it\'s goin\' to be handled, please ban me, Capcom , Deadly Hamster and many other\'s.

That is unless I missed some vital post that got him banned, incase that happened, ignore the above post.
:)

I think because he was flaming members who thought different than him. Not 100% sure though.

Maybe so - but that is all that forum is. People with strong opinion\'s and flaming. Why pick him out of the pack? To make an example?

And nevermind - I see it being mentioned in the \'Staff Forum\', I\'ll ask my questions and voice my opinion there.

Thats wierd mystic, I saw a group of 3 helicoptors fly by today. 2 seemed commercial but one looked military, you know the kind with 2 propellers...
