anyone ever been cliff jumping?

I love it, ill jump any height as long as I see someone else go first lol. Today I jumped one 96ft high, and landed on my butt. It ****in hurt. it was worth it though, I swear the fall was more than 3 seconds long.

By cliff jumpin, I mean jumping off cliffs into a lake.

Maybe if I was high on drugs...

...and dying very soon

...and someone held a gun to me

...and threw me off the cliff.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I assume you used a parachute or something, right? Cliff jumping is dumb. I won\'t even jump off my step ladder.

I dunno. I\'ve never done cliff jumping nor cared how people did it. If you said cliff diving, I would have known what you said :)

People die every day from driving also - doesn\'t mean we should all stop, does it?

I love skydiving, plan on bungie jumping later this year. Basically, I will jump off anything. Never done any real cliff divin\' , but if the chance came up, I\'d do it in a heart beat. I guess you could say I am an adrenline (spell check!) junkie.

Me + Heights = Must jump.

Always wanted to parachute off the Sears Tower. Its not a smart idea but it was always something i wanted to do when i was a kid. Ill go skydiving at least once in my life. Never been bunjie jumping either.

It all sounds fun to me.

I\'ve been skydiving a couple times (Cyrus is a current skydiver on this board). It\'s a great experience, something you\'ll never forget, just don\'t due it in the middle of winter like I did.

I\'m very interested in going bungie jumping and sky diving. Cliff jumping, however, doesn\'t quite seem safe enough to garner my interest.

There had to be some reason, he could have landed wrong, or mistaken deep water for shallow water.

Bottom line, if its 150 ft or less, and u land in 20 ft water landing feet first youll be fine.

Driving has a real purpose...

Not cliff jumping...

Thats exactly what happened and he\'s dead.  All it takes is a leg cramp from the landing or breaking your leg just from the shear height.

Also, sky diving and cliff jumping are so far from eachother.  Really not too much related besides the heights.

I always jump with shoes on, so they take most the force out of the impact when I hit the water. Maybe he wasnt wearing shoes, cuz ive done that off a 20 foot one and I couldnt imagine the pain from a 100 foot one.
