Bad move by Dallas.  I would start Drew Henson just because I went to see him play at Michigan and he was a better quarterback at Michigan than Griese and Brady.  I only call this a bad move on Dallas\'s part for two reasons.  One being that if they start Drew, he may flop and a wash up is all they have left and doesn\'t Dallas have to take a salary cap penalty?

Well, if you\'re going by that logic, John Navarre was one of the better quarterbacks that Michigan has ever had, and he didn\'t do anything spectacular.

As for Quincy Carter getting cut, I think it\'s awesome. Just had an intereview on Sportscenter 2 nights ago talking about Quincy Carter talking about how he had assured the starting job was going to be his. Hot damn, this rules.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

Tom Brady was also the worst in the past 12 years... go figure

As for John Navarre, I do think he is an excellent QB along with Jeff Smoker, Ken Dorsey, and Craig Krenzal.  I just want to see these boys get a shot in the pros.

Plus John Navarre is banging Carmen Electra.  Nice.   Although I don\'t see how he has time for Jane\'s Addiction any more.  ;)

First of all, I\'ll bet that Vinny starts and not Henson.  Not because he should, but because it\'s Parcells\' team.

I think they cut Quincy because Parcells didn\'t see him being their QB of the future, and he would rather go with a vet like Vinny in the short term.  This way they save cap space and they lose someone who is often a distraction to the team.

Besides, if there\'s one thing I\'ve learned, it\'s that no matter how weird his moves might look, Bill always knows what he\'s doing :p

Well he was busted for cocaine as well.  That may have something to do with it.  A good way out for Parcels.  Let\'s dump him while we have a reason.

Well, at least you said 12 years...I was goona laugh if you put Elvis Grbac in the same breath as Tom Brady ;)

Navarre doesn\'t have much of anything in common with Dorsey or Krenzel...Dorsey and Krenzel really don\'t have the physical tools, but they\'re winners...Navarre has had a little problem doing that in the past, especially in big games, and when you can\'t beat Ohio State as the Michigan QB, you\'re goona get run out of town, and that\'s exactly what happened.

This is dissapointing...I really respected Carter and wanted to see him succeed in the NFL.  During the press conference niether Bill nor Jerry would let on why they really released Carter except that he didnt fit into the plans.  I have no clue where these drug records came from but if they are for reall that is sad.  Vinnie will indeed be the new starter...the offensive line better hold up well since Vinnie isnt really a mobility type quarterback.  Plus he\'s 41, I hope Drew matures real quick to take the guys spot in a year or two.  And Gman Joe, you can shove it...everytime I hear of someone hating the Cowboys a legitimate reason is never given.

Edit: And Quincy was on his way up believe it or not...he had a real good season last year despit a horrid offensive line and a less than average running back.

Haha that would be hysterical if Quincy was added  to the Cowboy\'s long list of rehabers.

It was a good decision either way, though; like someone said before, Quincy definitely isn\'t going to be the engine behind this team in the future. Vinny is the right short-term choice but he may not last that long. Look what happend to him and the Jets.

"real good season" psx_J? Anybody who\'s interceptions exceeds their touchdowns isn\'t successful, I don\'t care what aspect of the game you look at it from.  Unless of course we had another Black Sox on our hands.

All Im really saying is this guy was on the verge of doing something special, I really had a good feeling about him going into the next season.  He can rocket the ball like I have never seen before...his consistency was just wacky.  He listened to Parcells and took his advice seriously,  then he goes and screws his life up just like that.  Oh well, if another team picks him up I hope he gets everything togeather and becomes sucessfull.  I dont feel to comfortable with Vinnie at the reigns, I cant wait untill the first pre-season game though...then I\'ll get to see what Drew can do.
