Something to ponder...
« on: August 04, 2004, 03:00:08 PM »
I was thinking the other day, about how nice it would be if they remade Final Fantasy 3 into a more modern and colorful version. It would be optimal, to use the exact same story line but just make a more modern version. I think it\'s safe to say that FF3 is one of the best \'Fantasy sagas\' ever made. Let me know what you guys think.

i\'ve never played 3,..my first introduction to ff was actually 7...which to me is the best one...but that\'s debatable as i have heard the earlier versions were excellent as well..

Well, it\'d be good to give people the opportunity to play the game, considering most people didn\'t discover FF until VII.

Of course it was already re-released on PSX but that hardly counts. Perhaps if they just remade it and released it as FFXII.

Final Fantasy III(VI) is awesome.  A huge cast of playable characters(13 or 15 if I remember right) and a huge, engrossing story.  It was my first RPG and one of my favorites to date:)

Although I never played FF3, FF7 was my first FF ever, and I thought FF7 have the best storyline, characters development, music, magic, and atmosphere.

If FF3 ever being remake in high definition, count me in becuase i will play it for sure.

so FF3 is what is known as 6 on the psx right?  If so, that game rocked from what I played of it.  Excellent magic and battle system.  Although nothing beats Final Fantasy 7\'s materia system and Chrono Trigger!

Your right on that one, for sure. The materia system is very intriguing. The thing i liked most about 3 or 6 is the fact that you could play up to 16 characters (not as many as Chrono Cross though)  and the espers. Maybe i stand alone when i say that finding espers was a great way to pass time when you were stuck.
